Came with my society and really enjoyed it. Course played really well considering the amount of rain we have had. Greens were true and quick! Only negative is there was no catering at the time. Well worth a visit though. Will be bringing the society back in future.

A cracking golf course. Massive greens. Many long par 4's offer up a stiff challenge, but always rewarding. Lovely clubhouse, and tidy pro shop. Made for an excellent MacKenzie double bill with nearby Alwoodley.

Played a practice round and tournament round. A historic course with classical holes. Well balanced 9's with sensible elevation changes.

I've played plenty of golf courses over the years and came back here. Good course, well maintained, true greens, most of the time, very friendly bar and members. The first 6 holes are a challenge so get through those and then enjoy the rest. They have done a lot of work in recent years on drainage so worth considering through the winter when other clubs are unplayable. The day rate guest fees are too low and don't reflect the quality of the course in my opinion.

Fabulous course played recently on an exchange from Bingley St Ives Rabbits. Great club house & very friendly members who made our party very welcome.

My first round at this course and very impressed. It's an interesting course with plenty of features and undulations. It's also a course that tempts you to regularly hit a driver off the tee. Thumbs up

Another enjoyable visit. Managed to get to grips with the greens this time. Read them better than last time anyway. Friendly clubhouse , good food and beer. Ossett Blonde , Wainwrights and a Theakstons I think it was. Beavertown Neckoil on keg. Always enjoy playing here. Some real risk and reward holes. Still havent mastered the greens which have slopes I just cant see😂

We held an event at Hatfeild Hall as a witch themed fair. The staff were amazing and helpful. The venue was amazing. We are happy we held our event there.

My son had his wedding here a couple of weeks ago. What a fabulous day. Staff were Marvellous as was the food and venue xx

This is has been my home club for the last 12 yrs or so. Fantastic golf course. Even through this dry spell the greens are some of the best in this area. Friendly staff always makes you feel welcomed to the club Come & try yourself out against the course. You'll love it😃🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️⛳

Fantastic layout in great condition. There are lots of interesting holes that provide a good challenge for all levels of golfers. The greens were best the best we have played this year and we have been to some prestigious courses. It is also set within the grounds of a nature reserve with great views on many holes. Great practice facilities to warm up including a covered driving range and the halfway house was open on Wednesday when we played. Great value at £40 for a top quality round of golf.

Beautiful building and grounds. Stayed just the one night, twin room had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and the views stunning. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Great value for money (Suggestion not a criticism rather than a large jug of milk and 1 large dish of sugar etc, maybe smaller and more for each table at breakfast) Would stay here again, staff all very friendly and efficient

A really gorgeous place to play golf. Setting is incredible, course in great condition ( September) Coaching - John sorted out my putting stroke and my bent putter! Couldn't be happier. 👍⛳.

I loved this little 9 hole course. It was really good fun especially as a beginner but would imagine it’d be tricky for most players. I’ll definitely be playing here again.

Superb 12 hole course. It’s quite a challenging and rather characterful course. It was soggy in some places but it was in better condition than both Wike and Rudding. I’m actually surprised how well the greens have held up in the winter we’ve just had (2023/24). The tee boxes and fairways were pure, even in March! You can tell it’s well looked after. I’m looking forward to going back in better weather, it’ll be fantastic!

I enjoyed the course. A fair test of golf. Good greens with generous aprons.

Love this course. Some Bunkers need topping up. The greenside bunker on the 14th has a thin covering and the ground is solid underneath. My club bounced off the hard surface yesterday (26th July). Minor stuff really.

Nice golf course, tight on certain holes, nice clubhouse with friendly staff

The course was lovely. Buggies had maps & and yardage, which was great. Buggies stop if you go out of bounds, they should maps & instructions for this Clubhouse & the punts were excellent.

So lucky to have this course on my door step. Staff are friendly and helpful, the course is well looked after and I good challenge

A really good experience at LLGC. Cost of round was reasonable, quality of golf course was very good, pace of play good too and finally, a friendly clubhouse.

We had our wedding here yesterday and we had the most amazing time as did our guests. Emma and the entire team were an absolute godsend and so bloody good at what they do. Totally stress free and great communication. Emma you made this so easy for us under our personal circumstances and i can’t express how much we all appreciated this. Wow! My first time visit for a meeting! A really lovely place, excellent facilities, fabulous foods and amazing, friendly staff! I would wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Been here twice. Best breakfast at a golf club I've had and only 8 quid.
