Has a very good driving range,a 9 hole chip and putt and a more challenging 9 hole course

Basic low tech driving range which works well and is very good value. There is a small golf shop with a fair selection of equipment and friendly staff.

Great parking friendly staff and the community here are class. All are very helpful in providing each other with tips. Balls are priced well. Range is always clean as is the pro shop!!

Excellent and very well maintained golf course. Nice and compact. The golf course has lots of trees that are helpful for keeping the ball in play, and, on occasion, bouncing the ball off so that it goes behind you and you get to have another go at your drive. There is some water which is deep, so you can't fish your ball out and pretend it landed just on the edge - this is disadvantageous to your score but you'd probably get caught anyway. Hats off to the course planners, the fairways are quite close to each other in places so when you make an oopsiedaisy you can just carry on from the other side of the ditch and hope your mates don't laugh too much. Very nice course, great location and excellent staff. Everything you'd want. Will definitely go back (with one of those ball retrieving pole things).

I visited Moseley golf club using the 1892 reciprocal courtesy arrangements, what a very friendly club, the members very friendly on the course asking if we are enjoying the course which was in perfect condition. A word on the director of golf Micheal Bayliss he was very welcoming and very obliging showing us around the clubhouse making sure we knew where to go. A very enjoyable visit Phil Bennett

An enjoyable parkland course with a good variety of holes. The greens were small, firm, undulating and fast. Couple this with rough around the greens it made the course play extremely tough. The condition of the course was excellent. It's compact, with several holes very close to others. Overhanging trees make the fairways narrower than they actually are, on several holes. The clubhouse team are friendly and helpful. The food is basic but fine and good value.

I’m a member at Moseley, and with 3yr old grandson in tow attended the Children’s Christmas party which was absolutely fantastic, a super Father Christmas. Another benefit of being a member of this great old club.

First time playing here, really enjoyed the experience, great facilities, beautiful course, challenging holes. I'd heard stories of snotty members and fussy staff, but didn't experience that personally. Will definitely be back. A+

We used the Golf club on two occasions to host a funeral reception (6/feb 2025) as we were so impressed by the professionalism of the staff/ efficiency and the excellent food that was served . Thank you so much , hopefully next time we return it will be for a joyous celebration. Faith / Garfield

Proud to be a member at handsworth golf club. The course layout is fantastic and complemented by the new 3 hole and fantastic clubhouse which overlooks the lake..

We had a fantastic experience when we hired the venue for a celebration of life event. As non-club members we received an excellent service and every member of staff was welcoming. The catering team did a great job providing a caribbean menu. The venue turned out to be perfect for our event.

Just wanted to chill out somewhere on a Sunday afternoon and what better place to do that. Chilled out atmosphere, with plenty of outdoor seating. Nice bar, didn't have food, but will next time. Great views. Great service. Enjoyable afternoon.

Awesome experience. Beautiful place in the nature with great views, plenty of place to take a short walk, sit and have a sip of tea/coffee. We also ordered some foods. Nachos was very good. Prawn cocktail, however, was not. Coffee was one of the best I have ever had. Going again for sure.

Somehow, off a 9 handicap index I had a 7 playing handicap! Maybe it was the 45mph wind but it wasn't easy! Some stunning holes.... 1 is a nice opener 2 is a risk reward 3 a cracking par 5 up hill! 4 a quirky little par 3 with a 10 foot layered green 8 the par 6! (Bit bland actually but still a par 6 at 666yds off the yellows and 725 off the blues! Back 9 equally had some really nice variety of holes, ending with the TPC Sawgrass style 17th which is the final test at West Midlands. The welcome was less than perfect but as a golf course...well worth a trip

This is a very well run and equipped driving range - with a great range radar showing all your shot distances, speed and detail. The team are very helpful and there are training/coaching areas for private lessons. If golf isn't your thing you can always take advantage of the excellent bar food available in the club house !

Went to the lights cycle show Was VERY pretty! Very well set up,planned & organised perfectly! There were drinks,food at toilets,at the start & half way around. It was very rel a ring environment to be in! & I really enjoyed it ALL!-

The Academy course is very muddy at the moment and would probably benefit from a rest. The greens are in good condition for the time of year. I only play the Lakes course during Spring and Summer time, so no comments at the moment. Range balls are discounted between 10-11am

Hotel great course great food great can't fault it

We have just returned from a delightful afternoon tea, just £49 for two, plenty of delicious food and as many drinks as you want (no limit). Well worth the money. The staff, Allyson and Michelle were extremely, professional, attentive and friendly. Couldn’t ask for any more for our money, really good value.

The hotel itself is lovely and the staff were great. We had the three course buffet, which was really good as was the breakfast. The rooms were really nice and comfortable, plus the shower was better than the one I have at home. The downside was the spa, not so great. It's frankly not big enough for the number of people staying at the hotel. Also, the hot tubs were a bit cold, plus the sauna and steam room were too small, so it was pot lock if you could go in. Also you have to pay a fiver to rent a robe which I've never had to do at a spa hotel before and I've visited quite a few. Also, the music was crazy loud in the bar and restaurant

I went for afternoon tea. Was a lovely afternoon everything cooked and made fresh. Lovely warm welcome from staff who were very knowledgeable about what they were serving us. Not once did they rush us. Amazing food a large selection of tea coffees and juices available. Well worth the money

Had the best day here for the Fire & Ice spa day. The facilities were clean, a little busy but fast paced so didn’t have to wait around too long for any of the rooms. The sauna, steam, igloo and hydrotherapy rooms were very relaxing. Definitely enjoyed the peace from the tranquility room, but there were so many people opening the door to see if it was empty (due to the darkness), so this might need looking into to help improve the experience. The lunch was very tasty. The golf course is vast, very well maintained with lovely landscaping. Special thanks to Chelsea and Lynette for the treatments, they were great!

A really lovely golf course in immaculate condition. Great value too. Only negative, the “members only” signs don’t make visitors feel overly welcome…. Perhaps “members and playing visitors only” would be better. Will definitely play again though.

We get to work at a lot of Golf Clubs, at a recent wedding we found the staff @ Aston Wood Golf Club, very polite & helpful, the drinks were well priced, easy access and loads of parking first rate keep up the good work guys

Massive thanks to Lucy and the team for helping our special day run so smoothly. Communication was great and Lucy really did go above and beyond from when we booked all the way through to the big day. We would definitely recommend Aston Wood for your own celebrations.

Wow, we have used Hatchford brook on many occasions however I am so over the moon that we had our wedding party here. After eloping abroad we decided to have our wedding party here and what a fantastic idea it was. Shay was brilliant in helping organise everything as was Kerry, super helpful and on hand answering any questions really quickly. The food was amazing, like really good! The staff on the night were super friendly and even got involved in our evening making it extra special, nothing was too much for them. I cannot recommend having any function here, it’s a lovely room and well worth the money, great value for money. Thank you hatchford brook for the best night ever!
