Visited for an early Xmas party. Great room and food was excellent. Staff all very friendly and I can highly recommend this as an events venue. I did find the drinks were on the expensive side but that always seems to be the case at venues of the nature.

We held a wake at Wharton Park recently and the service we received from start to finish was exceptional. Thank you to all the staff for making the day perfect for all our guests; the food and drink were lovely and the staff were so helpful and accommodating for our bespoke arrangements. Fully recommend this location for events.

Very nice place, friendly and helpful staff, basic but nice enough rooms. 2 beds pushed together could be improved but no complaints. Lush breakfast and lovely view. Would stay again.

I dare anyone to find a better value course than Sandwell Park golf club. From the play out, to the carpet like fairways, the tree lined fairways and the friendly staff/members. Just a lovely lovely parkland course hidden away from suburbia.

Very friendly staff. Great course with interesting challenging holes, and the best greens I have played on in UK. The catering staff and food was also top notch. A hidden Midlands gem. Well done Sandwell, we will be back.

Had a fantastic visit to Sandwell Park over the bank holiday. One of the friendliest welcomes received by staff and members from the pro shop, the catering and members checking in that we had a good round. Highly recommended. Having not played the course for probably 15/18 years the layout remains absolutely brilliant. Some lovely tight, tree lined tee shots and tee shots where you could hit long iron through to driver, decisions to be made. Some absolutely lovely looking Par 3’s all very different. Some elevated tee shots including a Par 5 which is always a treat. Fantastic layout and really varied off the tee and into the greens. Greens were brilliant and a real test, you’ll need to be sharp with you 5/6 footers and two putts are certainly not a given around there from longer range. A solid test of all the golf shots especially around and even more so on the greens. But a layout that is really strong. But more than anything else it the people were really sound and I’d recommend a trip on this even more than the course and that’s saying something. A lovely welcome into the clubhouse and great portions for a great price of really decent food too. Definitely worth stopping for a quick bite and a drink. Shout out to the bit of cake with the coffee too, perfect for a sweet tooth like myself. I’m sure I remember the edging around the bunkers and the paths etc being a little better years ago that would be my only criticism. It’s not bad, but this place deserves perfection really. But don’t let that out you off bunkers played really well. Highly recommend.

Beautiful interior with fairy lights across a big tree, very welcoming and friendly. Staff were very helpful & polite. Excellent food! service, & good prices for set meals either 2 or 3 courses or individual dishes. I chose vegetarian sausages, mash, peas, onion gravy ( with shallots) it was absolutely gorgeous, one of the best veggie meals I’ve eaten in a long time. Piping hot ! Couldn’t fault the food ( we had dessert too & the cheesecake was gorgeous) lovely afternoon with friends and we sat for over 3 hours and were left to do this with no hassle from the staff who kept checking on us and bringing coffee or drinks as we wanted them… Excellent!!

My friends and I visited the Lewisham restaurant for an afternoon tea to celebrate two birthdays in the group of four. Absolutely loved the food for the tea. Great value, tea and coffee pots continually topped throughout our time there. Lovely scenery and attentive staff. A little noisy due to a large gathering celebrating a birthday in the middle but this didn't spoil our lunch. Thanks and I hope to visit again.

Had a birthday lunch here. Staff were lovely. My table was lovely, and a great sunday vibe was had by all....Food was amazing and very tasty... asked for more cauliflower cheese as there was not enough on my plate, and my palette wanted more! Had cheesecake and drinks. Somewhere local where you can dress smart/ smart-casual or go for it and still feel comfortable. I enjoyed my day .

Played with county card and hats off to the groundstaff, the coarse was immaculate and the greens superb ! Straight forward front 9 with trickier back 9 , I'll definitely be back to play ! ... 2 Stowfords and a BLT sandwich in the club... excellent!

Visited South Staffs golf club last week with 28 of our society and can only give rave reviews about everything, the course was in excellent condition , our breakfast was beautiful and served by a lovely young lady, the gentleman in the pro shop couldn't do enough for us and special thank,s to Gareth who organized everything for us before and on the day , a massive big Thank You from us all at Forge Products golf society

Really good all round. Course in great condition, greens were great, tee boxes were the only negative. Club house really good, food and service spot on.

WOW the food was exceptional, can certainally recommend this venue. Phenomenal is the word. Best Sunday roast we have ever had.

Great golf course & facilities. The front nine is fairly flat, but the back nine is quite hilly & requires a certain amount of fitness. The Spike Bar welcomes non-members where you can have something to eat & drink. Friendly professionals in the shop who are very helpful.

We recently got married on 24/08/24 at Hagley Golf Club and with thanks to the team, we had the most amazing day. A special mention and thank you must be given to Georgia Redrup (wedding coordinator) who was outstanding throughout the planning and up until the big day. Communication with Georgia was professional and thorough, nothing was ever too much to ask. On the day, everything ran seamlessly thanks Georgia and the team. The food was perfect, with a number of guests commenting on this which reflects the quality of ingredients and skill of the kitchen staff. A number of our guests had dietary requirements and Georgia was great with this, organising adaptations where possible. Georgia and Nadia were also fab at professionally handling a situation where our Photo Booth unfortunately turned up late. They quickly handled it so we didn’t have to come away from enjoying our wedding reception. Overall, I would highly recommend Hagley Golf Club as a wedding venue. All the staff worked tirelessly to ensure we had a perfect day. Thank you, Leah & Rob

Excellent golf club with brilliant facilities and a modern air about it. A fabulous golf range that is fully automated plus spike bar that’s full of atmosphere. The course itself is a good test of golf for the low or high handicapper and if the weather comes in it really adds another dimension to the challenge.

Staff were so friendly and helpful! Grounds and wedding room were so beautiful!

Very nice course, the greens were great, and the course on the whole was very neat & tidy. Well worth playing. There is a decent chipping & putting practice area as well as nets. The pro shop has some decent stock and there is a simulator which I believe you can hire out.

Went to the function room that was hired for a wake. The buffet was delicious and warm. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Carvery lunch with family and friends. Pascal, the French chef, provided a real British roast ... with gravy ! Unheard of by the French 😁. Delicious food, beautiful dining room and lovely views.

Well, what can I say... I think the picture sums it up just nicely. Got invited to an event here last night. Didn't know what to expect as I'm not really a golfer, but I was totally blown away. Literally had one of the best night in a long time. The venue and the course are absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. The members were so welcoming and friendly. I think I spoke to Literally every person! The food was perfect. Highly recommend this place, if you're local and not already a member I urge you to get in touch and join. What an amazing night. Thanks for the invite and will definitely be back. Oh, the captains a legend by the way 👏 🙌 😎

Took my 3 year old grandson to Dino Golf this morning. He thoroughly enjoyed it. He enjoyed the dinosaurs as he is really into them. It is attached to the golf club and gym. Plenty of parking and wheelchair/pushchair friendly. There are 18 holes of differing levels of difficulty. There is a place to have a bite to eat or drink including alcohol if you want it. We didn't eat so can't comment on price or quality of food. It takes between 45 minutes and an hour to complete, depending on how many people are on the course. I would reccomend a visit, we will definitely be returning.

A lovely clean place. Really well set out and fully wheelchair accessible. The dinosaur's aren't just models they move and make noise also. Just thing let it down. The amount of glasses left around the site from other customers. If these were to smash it would cause problems trying to clean every bit off the grass. Maybe plastic glasses would be better or a glass deposit to make sure they are returned.

Adventure golf with the wife and kids. Was great fun! Kept us occupied for over an hour. Moving, life like dinosaurs which the kids loved! Wasn't to crowded, didn't have to wait to long for the next course. Cafe there for drinks and snacks. Different colourer balls for each player and different size clubs dependent on size which was great! We all loved it!

Played on the adventure golf which has a dinosaur 🦕 theme. Lots of fun. Best to book in advance. Would be busy at peak times. Attractive area with plastic dinosaurs, with bridges and water features.

Great couple of hours out for the kids during school holidays staff friendly and polite they involved the kids for animal petting session mini golf too was fun and right on our door step

Played mini golf with the kids, loved it. Very good value. Nice, clean and safe. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Look forward to coming again and having a lot more fun. For an extra cost they're is a Petting zoo too.

Played a round in October. The course was in good condition. Passing through the kitcen garden to reach the 1st tee is a novel walk to reach the elevated 1st tee. Greens ran true and in great form. Generally, the course provides a good challenge to all levels of golfers. Hilly in areas, so a buggy may be a good option. The club (Astbury Hall) is very comfortable and changing rooms a high standard. Will be great in warmer weather whilst enjoying a beer on the front patio. Made to feel very welcome by the staff. A wee bit out of the way but close to Bridgnorth. Views were a bit blurred due to damp grey weather, but it didn't dampen the enjoyment of the day.
