“This was a find. Admittedly we had a voucher but the staff were absolutely fine with that and enjoyed explaining the course. We were obviously newbies to the course and the members whilst playing were v helpful and chatty..which can't be said for many courses. Yes there are shared greens and some of the tees are all at shared..but it's a great course..par 69..not the longest but a few decent par 5's. Greens really hard and fast.”

The course was in ok condition despite all the recent rain and play flowed nicely despite the course being full.”

“Played Roundwood today for the first time in 4 years.I didn't book a tee time before so had to call the owner to play. He gave me the number to get through the gate to get onto the course and told me I could pay anytime during the day by bank transfer. Very trusting and very helpful indeed. Great little course very well kept and a good test for any golfer. Enjoyed my time there and will be back very soon.”
