Final EDIT: What a difference, this range now has full trackman up and running!! The lights are better and there are targets, totally different experience and very enjoyable! Get yourself down there...:) (new balls also added!!) Original post: Possibly the worst range in Hertfordshire, no targets, balls are crap, you hit straight into a hill. the only saving grace is there are also no suitable floodlighting, so you can't see where you hit it anyway. EDIT: Adding a star for acknowledging the faults, looking forward to making it more stars in the future......

Super facility this. The pitch and putt is good fun and great for short game practise and the par 3 is challenging but very playable. With Trackman imminent on the range it’s going to be an all round practise heaven! The green keeping staff keep the courses in really good shape and all the staff are very friendly. Danny is a fantastic teaching pro and has improved my game immensely. If you want to learn golf or improve your game there’s no better place. The pub does good food and coffee too :)

We went and played the pitch and putt. A little 9 holes - between 60 and 90 yards. Shared with foot golf tees ( foot golf greens are adjacent). Good fun. Well maintained. Friendly staff in the shop, where you can rent clubs for a couple of quid. Easy parking . Pub next door with nice outdoor seating. Thank you

Had our Leyton Orient presentation there, stunning place, crazy golf and football golf loved by all and the food was fantastic. Staff worked tirelessly, they were really polite and helpful I would highly recommend this venue. We all had a great time

First time here, made to feel welcome and shown where to tee off, by staff friendly member. and going to be a regular. Tried Footgolf for the first time, with my two sons, both grown men 😆 Even though I lost, brilliant 9 hole course, running next to the 9 hole golf course, different coloured flags and holes, obviously. Lovely setting, range of difficulties on each hole. Really nice clubhouse and facilities, didn't try food, but had a pint of lager each, outside in the seating area, which may I had was brought out to us by a professional and friendly member of staff. Easy parking, wheelchair accessible. Will update, review on next visit. Highly recommend.

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and I cannot praise the venue and all of its staff enough! Rochelle is AMAZING at what she does, she made planning a wedding a total breeze. The setting is just stunning and it was the perfect size for a wedding where people had enough space to spread out but close enough together for a great atmosphere. Their prices are transparent and fair, and the effort, care and attention that that goes into making this family run business a success is evident in all they do. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

We got married at Broxbourne Golf Complex at the beginning of June this year and what a day we had! Rochelle, Joe and Sarah were all so amazing with helping to plan the wedding and nothing was a problem for them! Even last minute decisions we made was no trouble. This venue is such a wonderful family run business and we are so glad we found it! Our wedding day was perfect! We had our ceremony under the oak tree and had our reception in the marquee. The bbq food was amazing and so many of our guests complimented on it. We were even more lucky with the gorgeous weather we had. ☀️ We couldn’t recommend this wedding venue enough! Thank you again!! First time at the club today. Taken here by my 82 year old neighbour, who is a member here. Ain't played for 20 years lol Tried driving range, putting green, was welcomed by, professional, friendly staff, had a cup of tea at the bar, watched Olympics, lovely place to be. Definitely going back, will review food and try a round of golf ⛳️ Easy parking, disabled access, beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend so far, update ASAP.

First time playing at The Hertfordshire and it didn't disappoint. The staff in the pro shop were very welcoming and the shop itself had a decent collection on offer. The course was in great condition. The greens were true from one hole to the next and gave great confidence with the putter knowing you could trust the roll. The rough was tough. Quite thick and grabby but a fair punishment for being off line. Overall a brilliant course and a great challenge with all sorts of holes on offer. Not too long, not too short. I shot 90 which was slightly better than average for me if it helps give a guide as to how you might get on.

The Hertfordshire is a course set around a converted country estate and for which from speaking to members some course changes are in the plans. It has a driving range and practice putting area with some nice slopes across the putting green to test your green reading. It is reasonably well maintained with some very pleasant looking holes playing across water. The biggest challenge however is its tests of driving accuracy being cut amongst some very well established tree lines giving what appears to be from the tee, some very tight angles. When i played it, it was in good condition even though i understand that the club has recently lost its head green keeper. The fairways had good coverage and the greens were consistent which as a weekend golfer is all I'm really after. There doesn't appear to be much in the way of fairway sprinklers though as when i played it was drying out as can be seen in the pictures. It does look a bit tatty around some of the tees as there were no tee or rubbish bins meaning that there were a lot of broken tees lying around. Also there were no ball washers which to my mind shows a more corporate rather than golfer friendly mindset. However this didn't affect the playability of the course and some of my balls enjoyed a good soaking in the water hazards anyway. Whilst I really liked the aesthetics of the course it is quite challenging hence the slope rating with very tight drives and punishing rough. It's a course I'd very happily play again which is ultimately all that matters.

Went for Sunday carvery. Food was excellent. Server Debbie/Fruitcake was very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

We(2 couples)came here for their Sunday afternoon roast dinner carvery which we had booked. There was a menu of 3 starters & 6 desserts. The dinner had a choice of 3 meats, roast beef, turkey & gammon & all the usual dinner favourites! We shared a bottle of Malbec from Argentina & there was a individual bottle of sparkling water. Everyone enjoyed their selected dishes. 4 meals, 4 puddings & the 2 drinks came to a reasonable £100. We all agreed we would recommend this establishment to other wanting a really nice meal.

First time in this place. The meal was beautifully presented and did not disappoint. The staff are friendly but don't fuss around you. If you want a nice Sunday lunch, I would highly recommend Canons Brook Golf Club ...

Firstly the staff are welcoming and couldn’t have done any more. The food was amazing and even the chef made friendly interactions with me and my finance while carving the meat, which I have never experienced before normally at other carvery's it’s just what meat do want and you get moved on Such a warm, welcoming atmosphere will be returning

Best condition I've seen the course in. Fabulous half way hut with home made Yummies. Great food in clubhouse.

A wedding anniversary celebration was held there. The food was excellent and the facilities were top class.

What a fantastic course, challenging and unforgiving in parts. But with a few easier holes dotted around. I will 100% be back.

We went to the restaurant for Mother’s Day as a family, what a great experience- good food (great portion sizes!), good live singer and all at a fantastic price. We’ve had quite a stressful time as a family of late, this was a perfect day for us all. Thank you.

Had my father in laws 90th party here. All went smoothly. Staff were fantastic, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Really lovely venue. Thanks to Sonia for sorting everything out on the day, much appreciated. Would highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to play this course at this time of year. Considering the weather that we have had over the last couple of months the course is in excellent condition. My compliments to all the green keeping staff as I spoke to them while playing were very helpful and extremely polite as was the starter and in house staff they made it a very enjoyable day.

*Update, there are plans by the council to put a road through the golf course and change 7 holes. Temporary greens, disruption ans diggers for many many months. All for developers. Down to 1 star if this goes ahead. No way is it right to put a road through a PARK. The course is constantly improving. Its not short! Aside from the clubhouse you can Grab a bacon roll off Arthur in the hut by the driving range as you go round.

Not the most challenging, but decent condition course

Held a wake at the place bar and restaurant excellent service really lovely staff. Louise and Emma served us all afternoon and were major helpful would really recommend.

Great Top tracer driving range equipment with all the golf simulators. Great course and super well looked after. Friendly staff and extremely welcoming.

Fantastic golf course, picturesque greens, and fairways. State of the art range to practice your game. The clubhouse/restaurant is super modern and spotlessly clean. The food was really tasty and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Been to the driving range only. Friendly staff. Extremely great customer experience. The view gives us a sense of peacefulness. Nice vibe for doing golf in any time.

Lovely course with a good mix of hole difficulties and distances. Great views of the surrounding area on the back nine. Will be back!
