Lazix Café is a hidden gem! I thoroughly enjoyed their Benedict egg ham and delicious bagel, both bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. Lazix has quickly become my favourite place to visit in Canterbury for a cake and a catch up with friends. For five visits I've had quick, friendly service every single time. The menu has a great range of choices, although the chocolate orange cake is so addictively gorgeous that I tend to get that most of the time. It tastes like jaffa cakes turned into a tiered cake and is amazing! The outside seating upstairs on the terrace is also lovely in sunny weather. Highly recommend!
Cute little cafe hidden away in the Hubbub of Canterbury. There are always seats available. The coffee is very nice (I have it black, so it matters to me). The service is always friendly. This is our go-to place now.
Review: This café in Canterbury is clearly a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why! We visited during the early lunch hour, and it was buzzing with people, but there were plenty of tables available, including a cozy outdoor area with a covering. The service was excellent despite the busy atmosphere, and we had the best chai we’ve ever tasted—rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. Although we didn’t get a chance to try the food, the dishes we saw being served looked absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit for a great drink and lively ambiance!
Lovely cafe in the heart of Canterbury. The space inside is not a lot but there is a large covered terrace where it’s very pleasant to enjoy a meal or a drink. The food we ordered was nice, but the waiting time was quite long I would say (half an hour for some eggs). Nice cakes and teas too. I would stop again in a less busy day. Dog friendly.
