This is what I call a proper 'local'; friendly, welcoming and somewhere you feel comfortable. Great selection of beers, spirits and snacks, and there's a roaring log burner that takes the chill off. Great banter to be had with the brilliant bar staff as well.

Out of town. Popped in with the dog for a pint. Prompt no messing about service. The dog was looked after just a good as us. Pint and a wine for us. Pork scratchings and black pudding for the pup ❤
