Brillant team of people to work with. The work is to the highest standard and they are really willing to go the extra mile (the last minute changes are no problem for them). They live to their promises and they completed the work on time and even helped with other bits and pieces. Tom was recommended to me by a friend. I had a full kitchen rewire complete with LED lighting upgrades, relocating of sockets and a 32A supply installed for my hob. The service was top tier from start to finish. Great communication, the bill was broken down into components so I knew what I was paying for, and always arrived promptly to complete the job with little disruption. I would highly recommend.

Used for a couple of jobs now, always great work. Installed a dedicated cooker and hob circuit last time and came up with a great way of doing it considering my layout. Most recently installed some power sockets and some hdmi media connections through my chimney breast. Quality work and I would use them again for my next jobs. (Always good to see things left nice and tidy after too)

I requested Tom's services for some work in my kitchen and I can say that I am satisfied with Tom's work, he has been flexible and was able work around my availability. He did everything i requested of him and was professional with his work. He even did some additional work without charging me extra.

Tom and his apprentice Patrick, have helped carry out a full rewire of my property. They also, fitted my new lights, radiators and plug sockets in my new property. Tom has been incredibly supportive during the whole process and has even recommended other professionals to plaster my property after he had finished chasing. This resulted in a smooth process and everything was completed on time for me to move in to my new home when originally expected. I would not recommend any other electrician and if I require further work to be done, I would definitely use Tom again in the future!

The 3 installers were very pleasant, competent, careful and helpful - involving us at important stages during installation eg routing of cables, positioning of devices etc. Installation took place without a problem. Handover involved downloading the phone apps for us and demonstrating the working of the system. I can wholehearrtedly recommend M.E.S. Ltd - a good team.

From the initial visit from Craig the owner filling me with confidence I have been really pleased. I'd carefully searched for a local company with a long background in solar, instead of all these pop ups providing nothing more than installation and folding up every couple of years. Craig filled my requirements perfectly as an electrician of many years who's moved into PV over a long period of time. His quote was also very competitive with plenty of help and advice sorting out exactly what I wanted. His team of two Ryans and Nigel arrived and set about a clean, tidy, and very fast installation. This impressed me greatly. As a project engineer good planning always leads to a quality approach to a job, and these guys were exactly what I like in a supplier. Less than two days and I've got exactly what I asked for, for less than these pop up companies, and great experience all round renewing my faith in solar PV after cancelling a few over the last 10 years due to fine print clauses and such. And Rachael back at base is quick to help on any questions, queries, or paperwork. Brilliant experience all round and thoroughly recommended. Many thanks indeed 4 month update and despite the weather it's all performing better than expected, and thanks to the advice for moving over to Octopus I'm seeing a great return on export too especially now I've got the night rate setup and charging every other day if the batteries look low in bad weather. Even so I'm using half the energy I did last year because the system is topping up during the day so if it's a bright day I'm getting charge and a poor day I just do a top up between 2am and 5am at the low night rate. I called Andrew as I had lost all the electricity in my house. He turned up within the hour and was able to find the issue in 10 minutes and then resolved it in 5 minutes, whereas a previous electrician the same day had quoted me for 5 hours of investigative work alone! He was very polite and easy to have in my home, which is important as I am alone during the day with a newborn and I was worried about feeding and keeping her warm. Contacted Andrew for some work required on our house and our daughters. We have used Deakin Electrical on numerous occasions in the past. Andrew’s response was as usual, excellent. Very good service provided. They carried out emergency remedial work required to obtain a positive EICR at a short notice, they are professional,though some care could be taken to leave the place tidy and dispose off the nuts, bolts, screws and fuse pieces for future etc however this is minimal.
