Absolutely fantastic customer service from start to finish. I cannot recommend Top Gear enough. Especially to other females who fret about taking their car into garages and worry they might be ripped off. Chris was transparent from the start about the costs and his communication throughout was brilliant. I was always kept up to date and made to feel reassured. He shows you videos of what they do with your car- just total open, transparency throughout!

Chris and team provide an Outstanding highly professional service and go the extra mile to satisfy their customers and at reasonable prices , our Volvo brake calliper was replaced at extremely short notice (24 hours)and our VW Passat have had a service and MOT. I won’t hesitate in recommending Top Gear Car repairs they are completely trustworthy leaving you feeling confident in the quality of workmanship.

I have to say, as skeptical of the previous reviews as I was, Chris lives up to the hype. Fairly priced, no BS at all, easy to work with, goes the extra mile, doesn’t do more than is needed but leaves nothing undone. I can’t recommend Top Gear enough to anyone who believes mechanics rip you off. He’s the real deal and knows his stuff inside and out. Amazing customer service too; the full package. I’ve found my mechanic for life.

Amazing service and know how at reasonable prices; whether it’s a 20 year old Golf or a nearly new Audi Paul has looked after my cars superbly. He always explains what’s wrong ; doesn’t spend money unless he’s spoken to you first and will squeeze you in if it’s an emergency. He’s brilliant.

Our car has been having problems for a few months and this finally escalated last weekend. It’s one of those car problems you know are going to big, so you want to call around and find the best team for the job. Top Gear was exactly that team. They caught our eyes from their amazing reviews, and they absolutely lived up to them. From giving us quotes for three different kinds of parts to accommodate any financial budgets, to being extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived, to being communicative throughout the repair process, Top Gear really cares about the cars and the people in them.
