Great restaurant. Unmatched atmosphere. Fantastic food. We had a family celebration here and loved everything about the place. Food was top notch. Ask to see the history of the building. It goes back to 1200 AD.

PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE, take my advice and head to Wharf road car park then walk to the restaurant. Food is nice, but beware the starters are huge. The pigs in blankets starter was 5 decent sized sausages that were piping hot. I had Sirloin Focaccia, with a dipping gravy. The meat was lovely and tender but the gravy seemed to be lacking in beef flavour. It was possibly just a general purpose meat gravy as my wife's pulled pork focaccia had the same gravy. My daughter had a pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very polite and the restaurant was quaint and quirky. Overall it was a nice experience apart from finding parking spaces.
