Riverside Walkway Cafe
4 Brickyard Cottages, North Ferriby HU14 3AD, UK | Coffee Shop P: Not available
Rating: 4.8 (101) Price Level:
I always call in at the cafe on my regular trips to Hull and Hessle. Ideal place for late breakfast after a 2 hr drive over and/or for lunch as part of walking the shore path in either direction. Plenty of seating inside and out and friendly, efficient staff. Ample parking on road outside and excellent surroundings close to the Humber estuary and bridge.
Rating: 5 / 5
Called in here after getting off the ferry in Hull. A good hot cooked breakfast with plenty of toast and tea. Delicious scones to take home. Very good prices and a lovely setting.
Rating: 5 / 5
My wife and her walking friends knew about this cafe. What a place to stop after walking from the car park under the humber bridge. It looks small from the outside but it's like a TARDIS, lots of seating inside, and just outside the cafe, also covered seating outside (canopy) Staff absolutely first class and very very efficient.Menu extensive and very very reasonable prices. There,s also a car park.Very popular place, but no wonder.Call in it's a gem of a place.

A delightful café located at the south end of the ropewalk, it has a fantastic atmosphere with many of the buildings older features visible and wood styling. The food is quite good, they do a fantastic range of sandwiches and paninis, a little pricey but as expected of a café, the staff are very friendly and the service is exceptional.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here. The staff were friendly and there was a very good range of food. On the occasions I've been here the quality of the food has been high and extremely tasty. The specials board is updated regularly too.

A great walk today so decided to pop in for a coffee in the Ropery Coffee Shop. Met with a warm welcome by Lisa and served a great coffee. About a dozen others in the shop but a real nice atmosphere and Wendy was happy to spend some of her valuable time telling me about upcoming events that could interest me. Also a great programmes board with a great assortment of events. The centre is a not for profits centre so visit it when you can you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful place as the sun shined down on me having a lovely meal in their sun trap yard. Felt like I blended into nature that day
Rating: 4 / 5
We had an enjoyable couple of hours here in spite of a damp & dreary day. The museum is a small part of an interesting redevelopment of the old rope factory. The redevelopment saw the long single story building divided into a series of units with different purposes. There are a lot of artists working from the units with some lovely galleries to peruse as well as a performing space. The top end can be accessed via the Tesco entrance and that's where the cafe is situated. The Rope museum is just between the cafe & galleries. You can also enter from the north end and carparking is free. It was interesting to read about & view exhibits related to the local industry of rope making. Well worth a visit.

Cute cafe in the old part of town, just by the bus and train terminal. Super clean and greeted by super friendly staff. Also food is amazing, from traditional breakfasts to toasties, burgers or shepherds pie and all the trimmings. Not to mention the fresh brownies/cheesecake and a proper coffee machine.👌
Rating: 5 / 5
Stop off occasionally on a Saturday or on my way to work. Smashing pots of tea and the food is awesome. Park in the bus station car park and it's a 2 minute walk. Well worth it, you'll easily miss it if you pass by in the car.
