What a lovely café. The tables are nicely spaced out and the menu has a perfect range of light meals. Lisa invited us to check out the cakes and I’m so glad we did. Everything was so well presented and very tasty. We will definitely return.

I live in Devon, three days ago I was visiting the lovely area of Stamford, I decided to visit this truly very unique tea room in this wonderful town ( The Drawing Room, St Mary`s Street Stamford ) a really good atmosphere, also ALL the staff are Very friendly and a service with a smile, as you would expect Very clean, and the food is exquisite at competitive prices ! I would recommend anyone visiting the area, to also go in to 'The drawing Room' for tea / coffee and to dine of course. Thank you all at the Drawing Room. K.W.

It was busy when our party of 4 , which included my 84 year old father, arrived. We hadn't booked but were shown to a table pretty quickly. The waitress was friendly and patient even given the obvious busyness of the restaurant. The food was tasty and plentiful. If there were one criticism - and it is so minor that it didn't detract- it would be that we were not told that we had to go to the counter to pay, so sat waiting for some time before we twigged. I highly recommend The Drawing Room and would definitely return if in the Stamford area.

Great spot for tea, coffee, cake and lunch . Homemade and specialities of the day. The chicken club sandwich is fantastic. Excellent service and friendly staff.

I am very fussy with coffee. I normally don't order one if I am not familiar with the place unless highly recommended by friends. So far, I am pleased with my Americano. Just the way I like it made.
