An extra special review for The Cheesy Pig who catered our wedding in June. We've followed The Cheesy Pig for a while, and always get their food at any opportunity - and have worked our way through the menu! So, when thinking about catering for our wedding, they were top of the list! From first contact using the form on the website to chatting with Louisa by email, the booking process was very simple and the tiers given for food choices made things straightforward. They were able to accommodate our guest numbers growing and were so ready and willing to do anything they could when working with our venue, to make the on-site arrangements as easy as possible! Choosing which burgers out of their delicious bunch proved to be much more challenging as every one we had tried was a taste sensation! My personal favourite is The Pig Mac - pulled pork with macaroni cheese and baconaise! The portions are substantial - especially with cheesy chips on the side, but the food is that good you don't see much left at the end! We didn't have a traditional wedding breakfast, The Cheesy Pig was our main food event - we knew that we wanted a meal that would work well as a part of our festival-style celebrations, and it was the perfect choice The food was incredible, and was loved by all of our guests, as we have been receiving rave reviews ever since - and have pointed all of our friends in the direction of your events and pop-up takeaway nights! Some really special personal touches too from the team, who really are at the top of their game. If you are thinking of trying the food, or booking them for your event - do it! Had my first ever Cheesy Pig experience tonight! It was every bit as delicious as described by my daughter, who has eaten Cheesy Pig before. Piping hot, massive portion sizes, and so unbelievably yummy. Perfect!

📍@the.cheesypig This isn't our first time trying The Cheesy Pig (the first time was at Burghley House last year), but when they're on your doorstep after you've been asking them for months to visit Lincoln, it's only fair you show up. Pair that with Chow Pizza (see previous review) being at the same location, a portion of Cheesy Pig seemed be the perfect side to our pizza. We ordered: 🍟 The Pooh Bear If you've tried The Cheesy Pig before, you'll understand that this food isn't just thrown together especially once you've tried the pulled pork. But starting the the fries, they were lovely and crisp and there was a healthy amount of them too. As for the pulled pork, not only was there soo much of it, it was delicious. The Halloumi topped with Chilli Honey works and the addition of the bacon bits just tops it off. Now that The Cheesy Pig have two park up locations in Lincoln, there's no reason for you not to try them. Nice lads, even better food! Wife and I tried this on a whim at an artisan fair and were very glad that we did. Fries are cooked and seasoned to perfection, pulled pork melts in your mouth and is complemented by their cheese sauce. The bacon bits were meaty and crispy which paired well with the Mac and cheese. Hopefully we'll run into these guys again!

Lovely small tearoom with a menu of paninis and sandwiches, plus some lovely homemade cakes. Staff are all lovely and really make you feel welcome. Best tasting coffee in town. All profits are used to support people who are in need of mental health counselling.

What an amazing local place - staffed by volunteers - that not only serves great 'homemade' food and very nice drinks, all served with a friendly face, but is helping a great cause - Mental Health. Why would anyone spend their money at an International Brand and increase their large profits, when you can have better quality at "Don't Lose Hope" and help your local Community. THANK YOU.

Lovely staff, food are light bites, jacket potatoes, pizza. Coffee was excellent and reasonable, I had barbecue chicken and cheese wrap served with salad and crisps and coleslaw. My friend had the same meal but a cold drink. Came to under £16.00 great value and was very tasty. Volunteers serve you. This is well worth going , very busy though, only one table free. If going as a crowd it is better to reserve your table.

These guys are absolutely incredible ❤️ Not only is the food, drinks and service amazing (you have to try the brownies) but their counseling services are transformative. Their vegan rocky road is a right treat and they make the most gorgeous vegan hot choc and cream! Grateful to all involved.

I had the Beef sandwich on ciabatta and a side of the curry fries. It was absolutely incredible! The beef sandwich is just ridiculous!! The curry chips made me question, why have I never had curry chips before in my life?!? Altogether just top level.

I went for breakfast to the bistro this morning the bacon on the ciabatta bread was just delicious. Very lovely atmosphere too. Will definitely be visiting again.

First visit today. Had the steak ciabatta. Fantastic. Coffee fantastic with homemade shortbread on the side. Highly recommend this place.

Incredible food, welcoming staff, and a cozy environment. I had the pulled chicken and basil mayonnaise sandwich, and my mother had the fish finger sandwich. I’ve never tasted anything like it! We were welcomed in to The Courtyard with very welcoming smiles and extremely child (toddler) friendly. There’s even a corner with a table / chairs set up for little ones, including craft and toys. A fabulous addition to Bourne, we will be visiting again soon. Parking available around the back near the post office.

Best English breakfast for miles around. Staff are always friendly. Only local competition is Colstworth truck stop for value but this place wins the competition for quality.

This is a great little cocktail bar, offering a friendly service and a fantastic selection of cocktails! It's open every Friday and Saturday night until late. If you haven't been yet, you need to give this place a try!

Awsome staff! They are so friendly and helpful. My kids love the play area and the kid's lunch option where they can choose their own 3 snacks and pour their own squash. Lovely place!!! Photos taken by my daughter.

We had a party here for our one year old twins and it was absolutely perfect!!! We couldn’t have wanted for more! It was the perfect size for them and a few of their friends! We were able to let the kids roam freely while we could still enjoy a cuppa and see everything! We had 10 children with an age range of 8 months old to 5 and they all had a fabulous time!! We had a number 1, balloon arch and the food was perfect, nice and easy, choose for yourself. The staff catered to our every need. Couldn’t recommend it more, thank you so much for making such a special day absolutely perfect 🤩

We love full of beans. Our 2 year old loves it. It's created for 1-4year old roughly and never over crowded which is great to help our daughter grown confidence. Coffee is good. Food is very good. Free WiFi. Also good facilities for toilets and potty training. We love it.

Love this shop, it's on our local dog walk so on my day off we always go in, get a nice breakfast and my dog always gets a cheeky sausage! He even pulls me in there now! They're wonderful people and always so friendly! Further to this thier milkshakes are unbeatable. Well worth a visit!

Since becoming The Abbey Road Kitchen this place has become a gem for the town.

Great little place that does a big fryup! Supports local businesses, getting coffee and meat local. Just a tad oily but way better than a chain.

Just had a lovely Sunday roast. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Service was first class. A warm welcome from the staff who really looked after us. Thanks for a lovely lunch.

My son and his new bride had their reception here yesterday and l have to say the staff were amazing. They all worked very hard as a team to make sure each and every guest had the best time. We stayed for 2 nights and any requests made were dealt with immediately and always with a smile. The food was amazing both at the reception and in the restaurant and service was exceptional. Cannot thank the Wishing Well enough for ensuring my son and his wife had the best day. Would highly recommend

We discovered this place by chance as driving home and casually said we pass all these villages but never visit to see what they are like. So when we saw the village of Dyke, we decided to take a look. Well, we saw The Wishing Well Inn, it looked interesting as a typical old-fashioned village pub,full of characte so curiosity led us inside.What a find, a beautiful stone building with wooden beams and such character. Deceptively spacious, very welcoming and friendly. Ideal for family occasions and weddings as they also have rooms for overnight stays. An excellent menu, from light lunch snacks to three course meals. A garden to enjoy and a large car park. The portions are very generous and delicious! One of my favourite places, just a pity it is not closer to home!

We were lucky enough to use the wishing well inn for our wedding reception. Amazing food and staff couldn’t have wished for a better venue would recommend 100%

Three night stay, lovely room, breakfast and ideally situated. The free of charge public carpark at the rear can be a bit of pot luck. We visit Bourne 2/3 times per year and the Angel Hotel will be our favoured base.

Had an afternoon tea n food, lovely cosy comfortable nice decor great service, food was delicious i had hot panini with bacon and sausage, chips salad n coleslaw very tasty. Nice and worth a visit.

Lovely hotel stayed with family for wedding nearby had the burghley king room very spacious and comfortable king bed. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast good with a few menu options. Will definitely stay again when in area. highly recommend
