We discovered this place by chance as driving home and casually said we pass all these villages but never visit to see what they are like. So when we saw the village of Dyke, we decided to take a look. Well, we saw The Wishing Well Inn, it looked interesting as a typical old-fashioned village pub,full of characte so curiosity led us inside.What a find, a beautiful stone building with wooden beams and such character. Deceptively spacious, very welcoming and friendly. Ideal for family occasions and weddings as they also have rooms for overnight stays. An excellent menu, from light lunch snacks to three course meals. A garden to enjoy and a large car park. The portions are very generous and delicious! One of my favourite places, just a pity it is not closer to home!

Just had a lovely Sunday roast. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Service was first class. A warm welcome from the staff who really looked after us. Thanks for a lovely lunch.

We were lucky enough to use the wishing well inn for our wedding reception. Amazing food and staff couldn’t have wished for a better venue would recommend 100%

My son and his new bride had their reception here yesterday and l have to say the staff were amazing. They all worked very hard as a team to make sure each and every guest had the best time. We stayed for 2 nights and any requests made were dealt with immediately and always with a smile. The food was amazing both at the reception and in the restaurant and service was exceptional. Cannot thank the Wishing Well enough for ensuring my son and his wife had the best day. Would highly recommend

Love this place - n I've only been twice - once on my own, once to mwet a friend. so welcoming, great selection of drinks (including Guiness 0), a lovely pub n restaurant (though I am yet to eat here, but definitely will) n plenty of outside seating with plants, trees n flowers to admire. Great country/village pub!
