Great family pub with good food and beers. I really like the smaller menu options they have too.
Have been to Recruiting Sergeant and I am always amazed how friendly and welcoming the staff are. There is a bar area in front and restaurant part in the back, some tables available outside too and decent sized car park. The food is nice, prepared up to the standards and tasty. The only little cons for a small portion of vegetables served with main. Also, the staff is happy to swap extra like chips for potatoes and that's very accommodating. Good choice of starters, mains and puddings that I recommend to everyone as they're super delicious.
A nice place for our Christmas party. Food was reasonably priced, served in a good timely manner. Worth popping along for a bite to eat and a drink.
The food was excellent with generous portion sizes. The octopus was cooked to perfection—tender and not chewy at all. The fish was both flavorful and tender, a truly delightful experience! The oysters were slightly small but still tasty.
