What a great little find. This place is for sure a hidden gem! We visited a couple of weeks ago for a magic show. Enjoyed tea and the most wonderful cakes in the little cafe. We will be back for sure

Lovely place hidden away in a quiet corner. Great service, very clean, good value and nice portion sizes. It's unusual for a place to get a tick for all of these, but The Hub does. Can't wait for my next visit.

I visit regularly. It's a nice, cosy café with fantastic freshly made baguettes, sandwiches, paninis, and homemade cakes. They also serve fresh coffee, a small selection of wine, and bottled beers. The staff are friendly. When the sun's shining, there's a great secluded grassy area out front where you (and your dog!) can sit and enjoy your food and drink. It's a real oasis in this part of Sittingbourne. Enjoy!

Sittingbourne doesn’t deserve this cafe. 5/5 for years running on the food hygiene. Tasty variety of British cultural food. Friendly staff and tidy restaurant. I would encourage anyone who lives in Sittingbourne to visit this cafe and see for yourself. Great prices too.

I’ve been going to this cafe for a few years now. Wonderful staff, proper food, been both alone, with friends and taken clients and colleagues. With all the miles I travel professionally, I always look forward to coming home and walking to the cafe for a delicious cooked breakfast. As somebody that’s eaten in cafes all over London and Europe, this was sits in my top 3 without question. May their great service and good food continue for many years to come. Don’t think about it, just go… by far the best in Sittingbourne/Medway&Swale area

I drove past the tea shop a couple of times and put it on my must visit list. Today was the day i visited. I took 3 friends with me for a morning coffee's. We had a very warm welcome, which was nice, hello's and smiles all around. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. We ordered a variety of foods/drinks and not forgetting the cakes too. I would recommend this little gem of a tea shop to anyone, I would give it 10 gold stars if i could. We are planning a return visit, we would like to try their lunch menu. I would also recommend ringing ahead to reserve a talbe to save being disappointed.

Popped in to get some food for the ducks... We spent about 45mins in the tranquil setting of the pond, with the ducks & the fish... The village of Breadgar is lovely... My only frustration of note is the drivers using the location as a cut through, whilst the other road routes are congested.. If you're visiting with younger children, this is definitely something I'd take note of 👍🏼

I found this yesterday. Delightful, welcomed my little Jack Russell, gave him treats and a puppycino. I was looked after. I went back again today and next year will definitely go back. All so friendly even the customers. Thank you Nicola and Charlie Apologies I should have left 5 stars and for some reason only 1 left. Hoping I have corrected this.

Have visited here a few times as it is fog friendly. Food was good however they need yo oah more attention to detail. We ordered white toast during to an allergy and was served with malted with seeds wholemeal.i asked gof it to be changed was told was cooking it 20 mins later still hadn't arrived. I asked again was told sorry. Still no toast. The rest of the food was good although very slow in coming out. In my opinion it is quire expensive especially when you don't get correct order

Bg's cafe & Restaurant

10 East St, Sittingbourne ME10 4RT, UK | Restaurant
P: 01795 228934

Rating: 4.5 (91) Price Level:

We had breakfast here and the food was very tasty. We had a mixture of traditional breakfast foods and pancakes. The portion sizes were generous and the prices are good value for money. The scrambled eggs on toast is huge! The eggs were lovely and fluffy. The staff were talkative, individually complemented the children and were very friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Pleasantly suprised from my visits. Excellent food worthy of any restaurant. WiFi is available First the slightly less good, the 'facilities' (WC) are basic, unheated and you have to go outdoors - but they were clean and well maintained. The outside looks like a typical local cafe/ greasy spoon, and while they do seem to have those items in popular demand I thought I would step outside the appearance when I saw smashed avocado and poached egg on the menu. The avocado was perfect in consistancy and the poached egg was cooked as well as any I have had at double the price. The proportions of side to main was just about perfect. On my return trip I stepped even further and risked the Egg Royal, the smoked salmon was plentiful and fresh, the poached eggs were once again perfect and the hollandaise sauce was delicately flavoured and pleasantly warmed. All in all I will be coming back here anytime I need to visit the town, food is excellent, service is prompt, pleasant, and not intrusive. Prices are low for the quality of the food.

This cafe has a great atmosphere. Even to the point if you have dietary needs they will do whatever they can to accommodate them. The Chef cooks to a high standard and the staff are always polite and helpful. Stacey the young lady serving is such a happy polite person and always has time to chat and make you welcome. Stacey is definitely an asset to the restaurant. Truly a hard worker and very popular.

I've been walking pass this place for a few years whilst going into town and, yet, until yesterday,I'd never set foot in the place🤔 I must admit I thought it was a greasy spoon type place that served up traditional fried breakfast. However,I could not have been more wrong. It serves up sandwiches, and savoury type snacks as well as sweet confectionery; coffer and tea. The staff are very polite and friendly and, here's the thing that I like, they bring what you've ordered to your table...no waiting in a queue and clogging up the Isle! Another aspect of this delightful place is the seating: they have some small, yet comfortable leather chairs which I like very much! Oh,I nearly forgot, they have a first floor level too although I haven't been up there yet. I love and support independent shops like this so now I have found this little gem, I will be a frequent visitor in future. Thank you ladies for making my time spent there a very enjoyable time😀👍

Sentado Lounge

Bourne Place St, St Michael's Rd, Sittingbourne ME10 3JY, UK | Restaurant
P: 01795 439197

Rating: 4.5 (806) Price Level:

We popped in to Sentado for a breakfast with our dog. There's a good choice on the menu and they do menus for vegans and allergies. The staff are really friendly and helpful and made sure that our dog had water and treats. That time of day, Sentado has a lovely relaxed feel to it and the decor adds to it, with it's repurposed gym floor and big lightshades. The food was delicious and i can recommend the avocado smash with a poached egg on top. I also welcomed the decaff tea with alternative milk. Been here many times and would go back again.

Unexpectedly beautiful in the evening, candle light dinner with a friend. The candles give for a warm cosy environment which I love. The food came out promptly and was ok for vegan options, I chose to have the 3 tapas style options... Hummus with pitter bread ( not enough bread to dip in my opinion and not toasted, it would of made a bit of a difference if it had been toasted) the beans and kidney beans were tasty and the bang bang coliflour was my favorite with two different sauces. The customer service was good, prompt being a very busy Sat evening. All very young staff but doing their best and producing a very good service considering how busy it was. What I wasn't happy with was the fact that there were not enough staff and so putting the pressure on the 3/4 staff serving for the whole restaurant. I requested that my food was not to be touched as I needed to check my car and half the table got tidied up, along side my chips which I was using to dip my food. It took a while to get service at that point to replace them but over all a really nice experience.

I did it again and ordered too much! The Station Cafe is exactly what it should be - a no nonsense, well run cafe. It's clean, tidy and airy. Service is friendly and the food is hot and plentiful. The breakfast menu options should please everyone and you don't have to wait too long to kill those morning hunger pangs. There's a car park around the corner and it's a good launchpad if you're heading off by train or you're off the the High Street for a spot of shopping. I find the tables just a tad too small for four people, but you can't have everything, right?
