Booked for the valentines afternoon tea. First time going after wanting to go for months (just struggle to find time). But my god the food was excellent. Lovely warm welcome and all round great service. Will definitely be booking in future and popping in when can. Highly recommend.

Never been for an afternoon tea before so took my Mum, who also has never been to one, to The Kitchen. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the food was amazing. So much choice, we even had cakes to spare so took them home in a box. The cakes were so good. Highly recommend for lunch, afternoon tea or just a coffee, which was also really good.

Had some time to kill in the neighborhood so paid The Kitchen a visit. Lovely coffee and cake, and a beautiful atmosphere. Had a great chat with the owner and staff and cannot recommend this café enough. Will definitely be back!!

My mum and sister were invited to enjoy an afternoon tea and absolutely loved it. My mum has had the opportunity to try afternoon teas in many fancy places, however, she stated that this was one of the best experiences she has ever had. Linda made them feel incredibly welcome, as did the two staff members, Lily and Lil, who served them. Every single item on the table was locally sourced and freshly made each day at the venue. Something you can taste when eating the cakes, scones and sandwiches, which are simply delicious. Leaving with boxes filled with leftovers, I know it won’t be long before they go back for more, as they were so impressed by it all. Linda should be incredibly proud of everything she has created. It is truly fantastic and we couldn’t recommend it enough.

We had a lovely lunch here. There is so much choice on the menu so definitely something for everyone Children really enjoyed their kids meals and no food waste as they liked everything! Friendly and fast service All food was freshly prepared, lovely sized portions and really good value for money (I think the owner could up prices and it'd still be great value) There is a really wide variety of home made cakes too Will definitely return soon
