Top Cafes in Weston-on-trent, Derbyshire

Our first visit after a recommendation. We were there for Sunday lunch and ate in the bar so our dog could join us.
I’ve got to say this was the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever eaten (sorry Mum)
My son and I had the beef and it was beautiful - wonderful taste and really well cooked. My wife had the nut roast (which I also tasted) It was really tasty too.
The vegetables were plentiful, and well seasoned, the gravy rich and deep and the yorkshires, perfect.
The service was absolutely first rate a friendly, enthusiastic and professional.
We all really enjoyed it and will definitely return.

I was greeted and given a spot for my campervan next to the pub garden to park up; very level and quiet. I had a very friendly welcome and the meal was delicious - seafood linguine with a very rich, creamy sauce. A TV had been installed for the Rugby 6 Nations tournament, and I was told it only comes out for certain sporting events, so I suggest checking if you want to watch something specific.

Excellent first visit. The Sunday lunch was the best I had eaten in a long time. The cheese board was very enjoyable and the selection of wines and beers was very good. For a cosy country pub this will be hard to beat

What more could you ask for.
One thing I noticed throughout the pub was the cleanliness, not a sticky table or lipstick covered glass here, the place sparkles, well done!!
