I booked a table here to meet family as a half way meet up point for my Sons 10th bday. When we arrived they had put up a birthday banner and decorated the table and we also had a separate area which was so thoughtful. The service was excellent and so was the food. My Son has the best time as did the rest of the family! We will definitely be returning as a half way meet up point more frequently. Thank you to all the staff 🩵

We had a lovely stay here. It is situated in an ideal location for walking in the peak district in nicer weather, visiting Chatsworth House, or nearby market towns Ashbourne & Bakewell. The staff were friendly & attentive and the food was excellent. The Sunday roast was huge & the best that we had for a long time. We wish all the best to Alison & Paul, who have recently taken over managing the place, we look forward to a return visit sometime soon. Thank you all.

Stayed here for a few days while work in the area. Staff were great & attentive, food was amazing! Had the steak a couple of time’s & the pepper corn sauce was to die for, obviously home made. Can highly recommend the Bentley brook for a great stay & food.
Will definitely be coming back.

Not too far from home, but needed a break and food.
Passed by this hotel many times but never been in, what a nice place.
I couldn't face a full meal, but your young chap behind the bar arranged a simple JP, with trimmings.
Quick, nicely presented, well cooked.
