It was a toss between Wagamama or a small local business - we chose SushiBox in Batley and they did not disappoint!
We chose bao buns with fries (Katsu chicken and also pulled beef) and teriyaki salmon and rice. The rice was sticky and glorious - it all was lovely. My teenage daughters who are 💯 into anime were in heaven and want to go back.
Perfect sushi place with lovely customer service! Would definitely recommend! Chef even personally asked us if we enjoyed our meal 😄
Even after more than a year, Sushi Box Batley continues to impress with its consistently high standards.
Though the restaurant is small, it serves up delicious Japanese cuisine. The sushi is made fresh, and the salt and pepper chips are absolutely to die for. I also tried the noodles and wings, both of which were perfectly seasoned. Prices are reasonable, especially given the generous portion sizes. Definitely recommend!

Lovely staff always welcoming tastiest bubble tea locally reasonable price as well decent cup size. Just needs a thorough shake to mix the syrup. Not overly sweet either ideal if you want a refreshing drink highly recommended
Amazing food and friendly people. Ordered the salmon platter and chicken karaage bao bun. Salmon was really fresh and fried chicken was super yummy. Will definitely come again!
