Top Cafes in Edensor, Derbyshire

Tried this place after hearing positive reviews, I was not disappointed! Great selection of meat & veg oh & beer 😋. Reasonably priced, friendly service, lovely traditional country pub. Highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Deffo be back 👌🏻

Not visited for years, we both had dinner the meals were excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive, reasonable we will definitely be back soon for the carvery.

I went to this place only for a drink as I was too late for food however, the service was great staff was friendly and so was the pint I shall be going back in the warmer seasons to do a proper review

We came here to try the weekday lunchtime carvery after reading good reviews, and we were not disappointed!
At £13.50pp it was priced favourably and had a choice of 2 meats although we were informed that it’s usually 1.
We went for a mix of pork and beef which was spot on, combined with a Yorkshire pudding,stuffing, roast potatoes, and a great choice of perfectly cooked vegetables, and tasty gravy, made for a cracking meal.
The draught Bass was perfect too so all good in my book!
Our only gripe was that we were seated near a window and as the weather was hovering around freezing it was a bit cool, but really that is our fault as we couldn’t be bothered to ask to be moved.
On our way out we noticed the snug room with a roaring fire so should have gone in there!
We will definitely be returning in the near future for another lovely carvery👍

Went here based on reviews & wow wasn’t disappointed. Without a doubt the BEST carvery I’ve ever had!!! Staff all lovely, place itself really nice, will definitely be going back.
