We have visited Pine Lodge twice this year for lunch and both times have been excellent. There is always a warm welcome from the lovely friendly staff and the atmosphere is great. Food is very tasty and high quality home cooking. Very good value for money. Can’t wait to go back 10/10

Came across to this hidden gem when my friends and I were just trying to find a cafe to sit in and chat on a late Sunday afternoon. Lovely little place and seems they have a good selection of cakes. Ordered the tea room’s famous Dorset Apple cake which is superb and the Earl Grey tea comes in a nice large tea pot. Overall a very peaceful and lovely little place, good price and good food! Not to mention a friendly team of staff too Don’t miss that great view just opposite the tea room too!

Our little lunch club has visited Pine Lodge three times. This is more than any other venue! We are taking guests there for Sunday Lunch. We all find something on the menu to our liking, and it is tasty and plentiful. My own meals have been the steak and ale pie, a rib-eye steak, and a sirloin steak. All have been absolutely delicious! The steaks, while quite thin (I prefer a thick steak), are perfectly cooked as ordered. They are wonderfully juicy and tender. (Until the two I have had at Pine Lodge, I have NEVER eaten an entire steak, there always having been some sinew or other chewy, inedible remains.) I cannot recommend Pine Lodge highly enough. 🍌🥩👍🙂

Wonderful home made meal. No frills just good food, served by friendly staff. Recommend the roast and pavlova.

We have been regulars at Pine Lodge for nearly 20 years. All the food is home cooked on the premises, which is a working farm too, and is of a very high quality and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly lovely people who we now know well. Today's visit was Sunday lunch. A good choice of meat, I had lamb followed by a wide selection of desserts, mine was a banana boat. I shan't need to eat anything else today after lunch at Pine Lodge.
