Lovely first hair cut at Oliver Dean with Georgia. She gave helpful advice when deciding on style and was very friendly throughout. Very happy with results!

First visit today. Amazing. Oliver listened and took time to explain what we could do with my hair. I love my haircut and will definitely be returning.

I took my 9 year old daughter to get her hair restyled, she was very nervous as it was a new experience for her at a real hair salon instead of a quick cut at the barbers where her brother has his hair done. Oliver talked through what he was doing and was making jokes and simply just making her feel at ease. She absolutely loves the style and says she definitely wants to go back there again. Overall a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend.

Lovely place and Caroline the owner is always so professional and friendly. I've been here on a few occasions over the last few years but recently started going more regularly due to the great range of treatments and good prices. I went for my second hydrofacial last night (I just have the 30 minute one which is suitable for sensitive skin, as I suffer with rosacea) and my skin feels absolutely gorgeous! Always come here to get my nails done by Kamilla. The salon is always clean and well decorated, the girls are so welcoming and friendly. They only use ethical and safe products which is so important to me. Kamilla is so talented, she always listens to what I want but also has imaginative ideas. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!💖

10/10 experience. First time coming to Janet Bests and can’t thank Leah enough for the time and effort she put into getting the red out of my hair and getting me back to my blonde and black. She fully explained everything she was doing and made me feel super comfortable. This was all done in one day was well.

I went in for a cut and layer service and my hair has never felt or looked healthier!! Laila was more than friendly and guided me through what she was doing while also giving me tips on how to better take care of my hair and the products which would cater to my hair type and length, which I found really useful. She was guided by Leah who was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Leah made sure Laila was using the correct techniques as well as checking each step along the way which made me feel confident throughout my appointment.

I arrived at Janet best with the most positive and welcoming attitude! I was booked in with Isla for a wash and blow dry and can say my hair has never felt better. When Isla was washing my hair she did the most amazing massage which made me feel like my hair and actually been washed and not just pampered with. Isla was guided by Leah to what products to use on my thick long hair! Isla reassured me on what the product did for my hair and how to use it! My hair has never felt better. Thankyou!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get my hair coloured/cut at the time due to having to leave Wakefield before my patch test going through. The service I received, nonetheless, was incredible. Had a full consultation over what would look best with my hair. One of the nicest human beings I have ever met. Really really appreciate the advice and the kindness.

What can I say about the hairdressing here? Well if you are looking for someone to help you with your a new style or want the very best in Styling advice Then I recommend Gary! I should know what a great hair cut is like as I have worked in hairdressing for 30yrs. He cuts my hair and the style holds in it is so cleverly done.

Gary did my hair for my wedding day and it stayed up all day, it looked fabulous, he also did my sisters and my bridesmaid. They made our visit there very special, I would highly recommend him. He is so good at everything he does.

I had a facial today by a very attentive, skilled and professional therapist (Lauren). I felt completely relaxed, warm and like the quality of my treatment was important to her. As always, the aroma of the Clarins products induced relaxation but in addition there were candle lit in the room and a blanket available for warmth. The room was also at a comfortable temperature. I will definitely book in with Lauren again.

I always look forward to my facial with Sam, as she is always professional and welcoming. Sam gives you personal skin care advice, recommending Clarins products, but at the same time not being pushed to purchase. Always rebook straight away, as Sam is a popular therapist, and rightly so.

Amazing Neom hand and arm massage today. So relaxing and sorted my dry hands out. Treated myself to a gel manicure alongside it and I am so happy with it. I don’t recall the therapists name but she was very friendly and attentive to detail and really took her time to make sure my nails were perfect. Thank you so much. Il be booking again soon

Cool and cozy new beauty salon in Wakefield, that provides not only hair treatments, but also beauty procedures, makeup and nails. Have not tried every service yet, but planning on doing so. Professional team that are qualified in their specific field. For last few years doing manicure and pedicure only by Katerina. She has many years of experience, even if you not sure what to do she will always suggest and recommend what is trending based on your taste. Appointment times just flying by because there is always something to discus. Highly recommend this place, especially Katerina.

Had a cut and blow dry. Very comfortable setting, and love my hair cut. My daughter came along to wait for me and she was also made to feel very welcome too. Will be sure to book my daughter in for her hair cutting soon.
