I had an issue with a bedroom light after a bathroom refurbishment, the bathroom fitter offered to fit to fit a new light and messed everything up. A call to David and he was extremely helpful and turned up the same day , he diagnosed the issue and fixed the issue promptly giving me peace of mind . Chris, the electrician, has been a true gem! He has done several jobs for us (outside lights, outside plug sockets, ceiling LED's in a number of rooms, replacing a consumer unit, changing a lamp fitting) and has consistently impressed us with his exceptional professionalism and expertise. Chris is committed to doing everything to the highest standard, all while being incredibly tidy, friendly and approachable. His communication and reliability make things stress-free. I had been looking for a local business with experience of solar supply / installation and found Hohm Rewire. They were responsive to our enquiry and quickly provided an outline equipment and installation cost. A follow up survey in person followed to check access and wiring paths. They were happy to offer a solution where others had declined owing to our multi-aspect roof which presented a bit more of a layout challenge. Once quote agreed - works went ahead and on the day promised, the system was nicely installed and operational. The team were very professional and helpful taking care of a couple of additional requests along the way. I also had them back a few weeks later to install some additional kit and switching - another job well done. I would certainly recommend them and indeed have already passed them onto friends who have also gone ahead with work. Thank you - I know who to call should I need any further upgrades or works done.

David was efficient in getting back an itemized quote and completed the jobs enlisted. I must highlight that we were fitting a Hive system where it was having problems connecting to the app. David came back twice to try and fix the problem and ensure everything was working at the end. He also helped to extend a ceiling light by trying to match the chains to the same colour as the light. I appreciated him going the extra mile to make these things work. I would recommend David for addressing your electrical jobs, even if he hasn’t done a particular job before he will research it and make it work. Thank you David for all your help! So glad we have heat now! 😊

We have had David in before, once for an emergency, and once to replace our fuse box with a consumer unit. This time, he and Jamie came to replace our sockets, sort out lots of wiring, and generally sort out the house. They were courteous, professional, did the job on time and to the quote, and cleaned up after themselves, leaving us feeling happy with the work. We still have some things to sort, so will be using Reset again, and would heartily recommend them.

We called in Chislett Electricals on the recommendation of a friend. Stewart re-sited the socket for the dishwasher which was illegally positioned by a previous electrician( hence it shorting) He explained everything needed and despite the job not being as straight forward as it could have been we were pleasantly surprised at the final bill. All work was carried out to a very high standard and the property left clean and tidy after completion. Nothing too much trouble. We would highly recommend this company.

I needed an emergency electrician last night in Gosport and Stuart came right away when I called from the next town over. My normal electrician wouldn't even come out and said he was booked until December. Stuart was the only electrician I could even get to come out after 6:30 pm without an issues. He did what he could that night but it wasn't an easy fix and needed hours of work. He let us borrow an extension lead we plugged in upstairs and ran into kitchen so we could plug in our fridges and freezer. He came back next morning and got the problem resolved. He was very polite and nice. He also informed me of improper work the electrician previously had done. He disnt even charge us for the night he showed up to see what was going on! Will definitely use again! Thanks Stuart for all your help and work!

Stewart came to install replacement oven, lighting & a couple of dimmer switches. First had to correct & rewire the illegal wiring that he found from the kitchen unit fitter from a couple of years ago when my house was managed by a local lettings agent. Installed approx 10m new wiring from kitchen down into cellar to it's own new breaker on the board. Tricky installation, nothing too much trouble. Lighting & switches quick & simple by comparison. I had nothing to clean up myself after he was finished. Everything he did was done to the highest standards, neat & clean. He really cares about what he does and at the quoted very fair price, despite the obstacles he encountered. I cannot recommended him highly enough - I would have given him 10⭐ if I could - actually I can, here!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10+⭐ Rated!!

Enjoyed lunch yesterday. Fantastic food. Best fish and chips ever ! Fresh , hot and very tasty. Lovely warm and cosy with the log fire on. Great to sit in there after a walk in the village. Friendly bar staff. Excellent service. Must visit again soon.

Lovely one night stay yesterday. Fish & chips and roast beef for dinner were very tasty with good sized portions. Shared a waffle and ice cream for dessert, very nice. Comfortable room and good choice for breakfast. Staff were friendly and service good. Will back in the summer for a braai. Good undercover seating in the garden

Tim Darby, what a fantastic human being! Had a problem with home electrics tripping out and could not resolve. A photo of the consumer unit sent to Tim, a call back from him and sorted following his simple and clear instructions. These guys Tim and Jack really pulled out all the stops on January 7th 2025. We came back from holiday with young kids to a cold dark house. I called Tim The next day (hadn’t used them before) at 7.45a.m and he was on the ball and Jack attended at 9a.m and had the power back on by lunch time. Really saved the day. Looking for a new electric boiler for our flat, I tried a few bigger companies and they couldn't help. This is a great pub. Frequented by locals but also welcomed if not a frequent regular. Not my nearest pub and everytime I go I always wonder why I don't go more often. Service is excellent, staff really friendly. Dog friendly and food is always good. Great beer garden and location is also good.

I regularly visit my local but I felt that I needed to leave this 5 🌟 review! From the moment we arrived, the new bar girl Chelsea was very welcoming! When the food came out...wow! Their smashed burgers are up there with the best! Again, Chelsea was very attentive asking if the food was nice and was very chatty with myself, my wife and my brother! Chelsea even said goodbye to us when she finished her shift! A lovely evening of drinks and food and Chelsea was the cherry on the cake! She is a huge asset to the 🏰

Absolutely delicious!!! We tried the Sunday roasts (one turkey one sirloin beef) and they were both so so good. Meat was soft and tasty, as all the other ingredients. Quality was great for very reasonable prices, staff was lovely and we got our food so quickly. We also got garlic bread which was very good and fresh. I highly suggest the place, loved everything about it and definitely will go back!! Such nice atmosphere.
