Went for lunch with Mum and Dad at the Portchester tea room. I was thinking a light bite and a coffee. However checked out the meals and specials. Delicious spicy and aromatic chicken madras with fluffy rice. So good. No room for pudding so I will have to go back to try the knickerbocker glory another time.
We popped in on the off chance, the food and service was very good, more people should visit. Good home cooked food. The cafe is next to Portchester snooker club, go on give it a try
Brilliant bacon sandwich in a nice place. Highly recommended.
Been nearing to try this place for a long time. Just had a cuppa but will definitely go back and try some of the food.
It's a shame this tearoom isn't more busier. It's a little out of the way from the other cafes in Portchester. Very good food, reasonable priced and good service. You just have to look for it.
