Went here as we found the reviews to be good. They are under new management so the service was slow and a lot of items on the menus were not available. Food and fresh juices were nice but the coffee not so good.

Some good plant-based options. We had the jackfruit burger and the mushroom burger was veganised for us. Both delicious. The place doesn't have good ventilation so the air was very pungent with oil & odours from the kitchen, which clung to our clothing for a long time and made it slightly difficult to breathe for me. We will likely return to try some of the other plant-based items. To the owner: please consider your animal victims and your impact on our planet, and make the logical choice to go fully plant-based, or, better yet, be vegan.

Visited today the food was absolutely 5* the taste and presentation are second to none. The coffee was lovely and so well presented. Staff are lovely and welcoming really friendly. They welcome dogs and they can grab a pup cup. We don't own a dog but it's lovely that our 4 legged friends are considered part of the community. The cafe itself is clean and comfortable. Lots available for all they cater to vegetarian and vegan very well so that's nice being a vegetarian most places don't have such a verity on the menue this place had lots. My husband and son eat meat and again very well catered to. They really have thought of everyone here. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back soon.

This is a brilliant gem of Twickenham, a bit further than most people go but so worth it. Brilliant, different breakfasts and great coffee, very welcoming and kind owner. Super dog friendly and serves puppacinos. Took my husband there recently and he said it was ' one of the best breakfasts I've ever had' - high praise indeed from a breakfast snob!

The cheese and wine event was absolutely a great idea, which my mum loved tasting the different cheese and wines. The host was very knowledgeable on the cheese on the cheeseboard and wines, which he experienced the background and why he chose them. He was very kind and helpful with any questions we had about the cheese and wine on offer. From our experience, specifically my mum, we recommend visiting the cheese and wine event pop shop at SOUL cafe while it is still open. My mum would love for the host to open a shop because we would definitely visit in the future. 🧀🍷♥️😍🙏😋

Megan's on King Street (Twickenham)

The atmosphere is delightful—both stylish and comfortable. The food is delicious, and from the moment we stepped in, we felt warmly welcomed. Although we didn’t have a reservation on a Friday evening, they still accommodated us. Our server, Ash, was incredibly attentive. We followed his recommendations, and both the main course and dessert were fantastic.

So far so good ! This is exactly what King Street needed . Still soft launch & reduced menu - official opening tomorrow☺️ I absolutely loved it, so relaxing, great service, thank you Francesca 👍🏻 Place has been well put together, airy & welcoming & there is even a (heated & protected if need) delightful backyard terrace. If the food is as good as the rest this could become a favourite! Update Jan 25 - Sadly my last visits have been quite disappointing. Still lovely staff but obviously poorly trained but more importantly this place is very much let down by the poor food 😢

A delightful venue for lunch or dinner (or coffee and cake!). There is a great atmosphere with lots of tables. I didn't realise how big a venue it was until I walked through the different areas on the way to the toilet. There is also a private section for hire. The menu is wide, with a twist. I had an open posh lamb kebab and fiends had halloumi and avo toast and a Christmas flatbread. The lamb had a green tinge from cooking but the taste was great. For dessert we had a lovely, moist almond and orange cake, carrot cake and baileys hot chocolate which were lovely. Mulled wine was on the menu but not available (7th Dec) so we had prosecco, served in wide glasses. The fusion type of menu is great with lots of choice for brunch, lunch or dinner.

Everything was amazing! The Turkish breakfast was incredibly satisfying. Their gesture of offering us trilece was so kind, and I can honestly say it was the best trilece I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious dinner at Seyri. The food was cooked fresh and served hot; we decided to try the lamb dishes. We then had a lovely dessert which went beautifully with the Turkish tea. Thank you again for the great service with a smile! Looking forward to coming for breakfast next time!

Ristorante Sorrento

34 Heath Rd, Strawberry Hill, Twickenham TW1 4BZ, UK | Italian Restaurant
P: 020 3261 0003

Rating: 4.5 (251) Price Level:

We recently had a celebration family meal here. Lovely restaurant with further seating upstairs. We had the upstairs room to ourselves which was great. Service by Diellza was really friendly - don’t know how she managed to carry all the food up the stairs without anything being spilt - very impressive. Despite being the only people upstairs we never had to ask for anything, such attentive service. Sadly they were only offering a Rugby Day menu - so not everything from their full menu was available. Food had good flavour, was well cooked and portions were good. A lovely neighbourhood restaurant.

I had a really nice vegan margherita pizza. The size and quality were offered good value for money. I visited on a weekday evening and unfortunately, me and my friend were the only guests at the time so the atmosphere was lacking. I've seen it a lot busier in there though. Service was very friendly and quick.

We went to the restaurant a couple of weeks ago as we wanted to try some authentic Italian food. The service is provided directly by the owner and it feels like you were in some place in Italy. Food was the best quality we have tried in the UK. Again, it makes you feel you are in Italy. The chef cuisine was fantastic and the even combined one of the pizzas with the famous “Porchetta”. Being Spanish, I felt the taste and warmth of the Mediterranean. Really pleased with the experience and 200% recommended

House red was of a decent quality, very tasty and complimented the food choices we made, the food was of equal quality. The restaurant itself is clean, pleasant and very busy. Unfortunately this results in a loud atmosphere leaving it difficult to hear other party members. Otherwise the staff were very pleasant and happy to help. An enjoyable experience. Many thanks

Osteria Pulcinella

36 Church St, Twickenham TW1 3NR, UK | Italian Restaurant

Rating: 4.5 (737) Price Level:

The ambience is very nice, reminiscent of a quaint, autumnal cottage. The food was nigh without fault. I had the octopus to start, which was perfectly cooked - practically glistening - and was paired with a lovely helping of hummus. For main course, I ordered the aubergine ravioli which was also incredible, the highlight being the cherry tomato sauce. Finally, the tiramisu was so tasty; the sponge was airy and didn't have too strong of an alcohol taste, and the mascarpone was perfectly creamy and light. The service was great; it was admittedly a tad slow as they were quite busy, but we never had to wait too long for the food, and the staff were really kind. Luca, our server, was very funny and approachably friendly. All in all, a very nice day out!

Food was good. I had arancini to start, perfectly cooked, crispy outside, soft melted cheese embedded in rice, yummy. Second course pizza Diavola, good but not special, could have been spicier. Food was let down by the service. I guess like so many other places they are suffering staff shortages. Took for ever to take order and then food was slow to arrive. We were late for a concert and had take away half eaten meals. The noise levels were above my threshold, which admittedly is low. Conclusion go for the food but allow plenty of time.

Lovely place! Amazing food! My friend and I had Sunday roast (chicken and pork) and it was delicious! Karen (Cypriot manager) made us the best Bloody Mary too! Highly recommended!!

The Balmy Arms is an extremely popular Twickenham Pub on the Embankment, looking across the River Thames to Eel Pie Island. A large area of outside seating which is most popular except in bad weather, and a small but cosy bar inside. Good quality pub food is usually available, plus a changing range of real beers. Great riverside views and many places of interest make this a popular pub, both with locals and tourists. Just behind the Barmy Arms is Church Street, another popular tourist spot with plenty of restaurants.

Nice old pub with indoor and outdoor seating. A nice mix of beers on tap, not just the usual line up. We were not able to order food as gas/kitchen was out of service. Friendly bartender and a nice location overlooking the river. Not much parking.

Fabulous, cosy pub on the river Thames with great Christmas decorations, atmosphere, and music, plus the open fire topped it off. The manager, Karim, and his staff are so obliging and attentive. Travelling solo and my first time in UK, it was my first experience at a good, old-fashioned British pub. Loved sitting by the fire having mulled wine. Went back another night for fish and chips, finishing the evening with a baileys hot chocolate. I recommend this spot for a drink or dinner and would come back next trip. Thanks for a lovely experience team and for creating a great memory.

Very friendly service from the new owners, who will ensure you are well-fed and well-beveraged. The gyozas & pies on match days are high quality and very reasonable. Will be now be one of our main pre-/post-rugby eateries.

Popped in on way to watch the Premiership Rugby Final. Its a smallish venue, tight on space. Obviously not allowed to spill out onto pavement so crammed into small standing space. We just stopped for drinks so can't comment on food. It was busy and the sound system was too loud, so patrons have to shout to be heard. Suggest tone down the music, remove the charity doughnut stall and oversized hot dog stall. Despite this, it was well attended and staff were friendly and efficient.
