Having moved in the area few months ago it was a struggle to find a good takeaway until we visited Golden River last night. Great people and Great food with good portions. Would highly recommend 👌
Friendly staff, great food, generous portions and a really good vegetarian selection. I ordered my partner some meat options and some veggie options for myself and the kitchen team even bothered to ask if I wanted them in separate bags in case any of the meat sauces leaked in transit. Takeaway only so the atmosphere doesn't mean the most and the staff make it lovely but it could do with a refresh of decor.
Fresh and delicious! Quality and quantity! You actually get substance and not just sauce and the only place we know where you can order crispy duck that is crispy as should be, not dried out and burnt like. The staff are lovely too and big smiles wishing a happy birthday. We would never go anywhere else for Chinese food.
First time i came to Jessica and Jeff's shop by incident. Since then I have kept going back to their shop to order the food even though i live 15 mins driving away. The food they made is so yummy which feels like my mum's cooking. And Jessica and Jeff are such a nice persons which would take care of every customer's favour. I can't find any takeaway shop in Kent which can beat Golden River Chinese takeaway. Also, salt and peper squid, beef udon, wonton soup, hot and sour soup and crispy chicken wings are very deliciuous!
