Fabulous electrician, Great Friendly service and amazing attention to detail. Earlier this year (2024) Lawrence replaced my fuse board in my shop. He also cut down the amount of circuits that were in my shop from 8 to 4, as there was circuits that were not being used. So they got stripped out. Professionalism was outstanding. Thank you.

Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! But he returned a second day to finish up and the original price was honoured. A pleasure having you in our home and feeling the benefits of the extractors and PIV as soon as they were turned on!

We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013) We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service. We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. Also I think it’s wonderful that Joe takes on apprentices, to train the next generation of electricians.

I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

Needed an emergency call out. Got home on Sunday evening to realise I had no power on my sockets in my house, did all the usual checks on the RCD, I couldn't figure out what was causing it, but our house had been rewired only 4 years ago (not by southern electrical services) but didn't think there would be a problem. Gave Jonathan a call. He was very good at problem solving over the phone to see if we could shortlist it to a number of issues, in the end we determined we needed him to come over and look. He was very pragmatic took care around the home, explained the reasons behind the outage, which was traced back to a fault in the wiring in the wall which we would never have found ourselves in a million years. He managed to isolate it and get us back on so we can run the household without the need for the one plug that was causing us the issue... Relief! I'd highly recommend Jonathan, did a great job. Very pleased.

I had an electrical outage. My Internet, fridge, and all appliances were out. I called for the emergency call out service and the electrician offered to help me. I sent him a photo of my mains and he was able to walk me through the issue over the phone. Great service, would definitely recommend.

A beautiful little café which is bright, cozy and welcoming. The coffee was delicious and the display of cakes makes it very difficult to choose. We settled on the chocolate brownie and it was definitely a wise choice. The staff were friendly and helpful in their recommendations, if you are in the area this café is a must!

Popped into this café for a coffee stop during the afternoon. I had previously visited maybe a year or two ago but the inside was not as I remembered it. It turns out there has been a new owner hence the changes. Whilst I didn’t eat this time, looking at what’s on offer, I will be back. Oh, and the coffee was great btw.

Had the truffle burger, sweet potato fries and halloumi fries. Sweet potato fries were kinda caramelised and so good. Halloumi was soft and flavourful. Though the burger looked small compared to other places it absolutely hits the spot. Juicy and flavourful. The sauce literally bleeds out with each bite. Staff are welcoming and friendly. It's a little out the way and very hidden. Defo a hidden gem. Definitely looking to make it a regular stop.

Wow what a burger! The place is a lovely funky modern place, on industrial estate so easy parking outside. I got to have a cider, burger, and fries. Not the cheapest but well worth it! They clearly have great meat supplier patties were great!

A little hard to find but so worth it. The staff is amazing and even though the burger could look small so filling, flavourful and perfect. Will become a more regular spot for my husband and I. The halloumi fries is also a must have. We both had the truffle shuffle burger with normal and sweet potatoes fries and halloumi fries. Just wish it was slightly cheaper so we can come every week but I know that is just the price of inflation.

Great service, our electric went off and the trip switch would not come back on. Called 1st class electrical, he was very helpful and arrived within 10 minutes and he found the issue and it was sorted within 30 minutes. Will definitely use again if needed

I've just moved house and needed some spot lights replacing in my sons bedroom as well as moving the light switch. Dan was quick to come over and sorted ordering the bits and fitting. Overall great service, fast response and very friendly.

It's rare to find places that are a 5 star rating across the broad, but this is certainly one such place! The food was incredible - the starter was perfect, and the steak..... easily some of the best I have ever eaten! Cooked to perfection, and everything from the sauce to the mushrooms simply complemented it so well. We visited at lunch time, so had the place alsmot to ourselves, but I am sure that the service will be utmost during busy periods - and this place it popular! So you accept that during busy times there might be a bit more of a wait. Atmosphere was great - a lovely clean, modern and upbeat restaurant, and Jerry was a pleasure to chat to as well; clearly he values his customers and the amazing business he has built up in the area. We won't hesitate to recommend this steakhouse to friends and family alike, and look forward to coming back! It's a shame Google won't remove the obviously false 1 star review from someone who cannot accept that it's the Business that controls the opening times and not what Google lists (they're not in real time love!). So for anyone looking to go here, pay attention to the reviews that truly reflect what you will experience.

Stunning. The service was perfect, the food was immense and the decor is spectacular. This is honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to anywhere in the world. I regularly eat burgers when at "steakhouses" and I do this very regularly, the Bourgeois Burger I had at "Jerry's" is easily in my top 5 if all time. Flavours complimented each other perfectly and it was cooked perfectly too. Can't wait to go back to this place!!

My pool team had a meal at Jerry's Steakhouse 2 weeks ago. It was brilliant, fantastic steak, chips, mushroom and onion rings. Very nice sauce too. The Biscoff cheesecake was probably the best pudding I've had. Honestly it was amazing! 😍 I definitely want to go again.

The bar and chefs kitchen are on the ground floor also, kitchen to the back just behind a curved wall which has the stairs behind it Its an old building and they've done a great job revitalising both the outside and the interior feels super premium. There's quite a few plug points with usb on them to, so decent if you have kids with devices or coming for a cheeky work meeting etc.. The food seriously good, came in good time & service was great from all the staff, including the chef and the owners mixing in with the awesome vibes. Whether you came here regularly or just passing through, you could feel like making some new friends here with the staff and owners. Also, their pizza from the takeaway a few doors down is damn good.. Got our fussy 11yr old lads approval! 😂
