Jon repaired and serviced my boiler. It required more than one visit and he was brilliant at keeping in touch and always arriving when he said he would. All in all he is probably the best workman that I have had in over 25 years in Swanage. If you want an expert service and 100% reliability, he is your man.

I found Jon very hard working, considerate, prompt, neat and helpful. The job he was undertaking was not at all straightforward but he found ways to ensure apparently conflicting requirements were sorted in a timely way. I can fully recommend him.

Delicious baguettes. Lovely coffee and very nice ladies. Have also dined in. Look out for it as it’s tucked away but really nice atmosphere if want to escape for a little while 😊

I only found this secret gem by chance. It's at the Cob end of the harbour, nestled amongst the shops, with a tunnel - like entrance. The coffee is the best I've tasted All week! Wow! Plus it had that gorgeous real coffee Aroma! The home made soup and granary bread was delicious, and filling. Plus the staff and service were friendly and helpful, without being intrusive, Bless. My only disappointment was that I only discovered it on my last day. I'm so glad, I didn't pass by.

Had a lovely hot chocolate to take away and watch the fireworks. Tried some bread pudding my brother had bought - it was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Friendly service and great atmosphere inside

A food stall at the end of the beach, about a 5min walk. Outdoor seating but sometimes not enough as it gets busy, beware of the gulls!! A great view out over the beach & water. We had a bit of wait because they were flat out. It provides breakfasts up to 11am but you can still buy baguettes. Usual hot n cold drink, & other food, not cheap but you’re paying for the location.

Highly recommend! Wide variety of burgers, seafood, and bites, as well as beers and local ciders available. Beware their hot food service ends at 3pm but if you're a few minutes late they're really nice and can make select menu items. Loved the chicken burger here after finishing a long hike from Studland

Good food, great location just be aware of seagulls! I wasn't but when half my burger was eaten by one it was replaced free of charge which was very nice. :)

Todd has come to our home on a number of occasions, to fit a shower, new bathroom, remove old radiators, fit new radiators, leaking taps. We had so many problems with our home through renovations and Todd was fantastic on each occasion, fitting us in last minute to ensure other trades could complete works. He’s always on time , leave the house tidy, friendly with the whole family and his work is 101% every time. I wouldn’t hesitate to keep using him in the future and recommending to friends and family

Had water leaking through the ceiling. Phoned Todd early on a Saturday Morning and he was with us within minutes. The leek was found to be coming from within a wall and in an awkward position. Although he was limited for time he still ensured that all the necessary work was completed. Cannot fault the service provided. Will definitely recommend and use again in the future.

Todd has been our port of call for all things plumbing for 7 years. I cannot recommend him enough. His work is of an excellent standard and his knowledge in his field is also excellent. Very reasonable rates.

We called at Todd after a leak was discovered, he went out of his way to rearrange his appointments to ensure that he could attend to our emergency call out whilst meeting his commitments the same day. Superb work and excellent value.

I thank my lucky stars I found Todd. The inlet valve on my combi boiler was not switching off. As I am new to the area I now live in, I knew no contractors and had no recommendations. I went to what I thought was a local accredited company for help. They charged me £128 for a call out and diagnostic visit. They then wanted to charge me £155 for a new part, £207 for labour + VAT. In despair at this extortionate sum, I contacted Todd. He visited the next day, unjammed the valve, gave it a squirt of oil and charged me just £80. This is your man. He knows exactly what he is doing and does it quickly and efficiently. His contact number is now permanently in my phone. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you so much, Todd.

My cats Merlin and Gus had their injections here at Damory, Blandford and the team are just so lovely. The waiting room was clean and I love that they offered towels sprayed with Feliway. There’s also a place off the ground to place your cat carrier to give that extra comfort for your cat. I’ve also signed up for the monthly pet plan. They’ve assured me that they will send text reminders for worm/flea/yearly vaccination too which is great! 🐱

I needed an emergency appointment on bank holiday for my cat and this was the only one place open for emergency in my area. Helped my cat who struggled with passing urine. The vet was very helpful and caring. Definitely recommend this place.

Damory vets are truly amazing. They are so helpful and friendly. They are very understanding when I tell them I don't drive so will need a weekend appointment. They are very patient with all the questions and don't make you feel like you have to rush. They are so good with my cats and very gentle. They have a separate waiting room for cats and dogs and provide blankets to cover your cat carriers so your cats are less stress when waiting. I would recommend them every time.

Sam replaced my old and dated shower enclosure which required stripping back to the wall timber, dry lining and tiling along with the fitting of shower tray and doors. Along the way Sam identified two small leaks and a problem with the waste which he also resolved as part of the job. Price charged was as quoted. All rubbish cleared was by Sam, and there was a lot ! So pleased with the finished job. Thanks again Sam.

Sam came to our rescue earlier this week when we discovered a leak from our bathroom was staining our kitchen ceiling. His prompt and efficient work ensured the leak was banished, hopefully for good! We absolutely are blown away by the fantastic staff and overall service provided by Pet Practice in Poole. Our highly anxious GSD literally hates vets, yet Anna K and Ben and all the Veterinary Nurses have been able to calm him down and make him feel safe. He had to have surgery for the first time this year and he was not traumatised. It is amazing. Thank you all at Pet Practice.

Lovely, caring, efficient vetinary practice to visit. From initial phone call to successful treatment, we were very happy with all services. The receptionist is very helpful and Asher the vet, treated our house rabbit with care and professionalism. I'm glad to say bun made a full recovery. The charges were reasonable. Follow up advice, on the phone, was reassuring also.

We have been using the Pet Practice for a number of years and even after we moved out of the area, have remained with them as they are excellent and prioritise the welfare of your pets. Aside for 1 locum who was horrendous and a very young vet who was ridiculously over cautious with our very young docile dog, we have only got positive things to say and praise for the staff that we deal with frequently. Asia the Vet within the Oakdale Poole practice and Stacey the receptionist both of whom, always make us feel so welcome. Asia is incredible with our four legged family who the staff know are our life. We have 5 dogs at present (Barnaby, Bonnie, Storm , Willow and Beau) .. and we lost our beautiful little ShitZu Bella a few months back and as stated previously, the compassion from the veterinary staff was amazing. Thank you personally from our family for taking care of our pack and being a truly wonderful and amazing practice.

I thoroughly recommend 'The Plumberman'. An efficient, prompt and very friendly service. I had a blocked/leaking bathroom sink waste pipe. I made contact just before the Bank Holiday and Malcolm kept me fully informed as to his availability and arrived exactly when he said he would just days later. Full marks and definately one for my future tradesman list.

Malcolm conducted the annual Water Tank Service as well as fixing the plug in the ensuite bathroom. He was prompt to arrive at the prearranged time and conducted the necessary work in a timely and professional manner. He left the respective areas as found. Well what can I say, Malcolm was efficient, meticulous, courteous, polite and professional. He kept me fully informed as to when he was able to arrive and in the end arrived ahead of schedule which was brilliant. My old toilet needed to be replaced and Malcolm consulted with me every step of the way before doing anything, so that I was fully aware of the work involved and the potential cost. My old toilet had been installed before the floor tiles had been laid which meant some of the tiles potentially could have cracked as the old toilet base was removed. However Malcolm worked carefully and he successfully removed the toilet base without any tiles cracking. Very impressed! The old toilet base dimensions were unusual but after several phone calls Malcolm managed to source a new toilet which covered the hole left by the old toilet. The new toilet is fitted to such a high standard and looks far better than the one before in both design and quality. It is also fitted correctly on top of the floor tiles. What a huge, huge, huge improvement. I am so pleased to have found a plumber who I can highly recommend and I will definitely be using him again in the future should the need arise. Thank you so much, Malcolm.
