Beautiful English countryside pub with fantastic owners! Well worth a visit for walks and just to see the vast beautiful nature around.
We stopped here for dinner today and had a very warm welcome. The staff were friendly and the log fire burning made it a truly lovely place to eat and have a couple of drinks. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. We had a chicken burger, mixed grill and curry between us and they were all delicious. They were very accommodating of our two dogs too.
Lovely village pub a warm atmosphere as you walk in the door, friendly staff, cosy space and great view from outside terrace. Loved the cold Burrow Hill cider on a warm afternoon
We didn't stay but called in for lunch a few days ago and were most impressed with the food. Admittedly we only had sandwiches but they were made with decent granary ( I think!) bread and full of prawns. Served with salad and crisps for £6 ! Brilliant!
Stopped here for lunch on a Friday. Really peaceful with beautiful views of the rolling Dorset hills. The staff were friendly informative and very attentive. The food was fresh and really delicious. The batter on our fish was so crisp and the fish was super fresh. Plenty of choices of ales, lagers and cider for those who like it too. We Would definitely visit again. 🤩
