Laura & Hana at Ambience Venue Styling UK (York) have become 'Friends of Thicket Priory', working with them on internal events as well as recommending them to our wonderful couples and event hosts. Laura and Hana always have a smile on their faces, I think that's what helps us get along well as we're such a smiley bunch too! From tables plans and place names, to the amazingly beautiful chair sashes we love seeing the 'Ambience Twist' throughout the venue!

We'd like to thank Ambience for everything they've done for our special day. They styled the venue so beautifully, all our guests loved it! They even laid out my homemade centrepieces when they didn't have to, it's very much appreciated and it helped reduce my worries and stress for setting up our other bits and bobs. We got married at Carlton Towers in February and chose Ambience as our stylists. The little details that they added finished our decoration off perfectly. What a great service! I was searching high and low for a postbox, which my daughter-in-law wanted at their wedding. Chris responded immediately; I have been back-and-forth with various different questions, including the size of the individualised front, and he has been easy to communicate with, flexible and thoroughly helpful. I cannot recommend this service more!

Lindsay is the absolute best! I would recommend her to anyone. Not only does is her work exceptional but as a person she is just lovely. You spend a good amount of time with a photographer on your wedding day so you want someone like Lindsay, she captured the day exactly as we wanted. No request was too much and she was great company.

From our first phone call and our initial planning meetings to our wedding day, Lindsay listened, understood, adapted and delivered on everything we wanted from a wedding photographer and more. When our photos were ready, we were surprised by how many natural photos she had discreetly shot. Lindsay is exceptionally caring, made everyone feel relaxed and she captured many wonderful moments with our family and friends that we continue to cherish.

Wow…where to begin! I would recommend Lindsay at The Jasmine Cottage Studio everyday of the week! The communication throughout the entire process kept us at such ease, we discussed every detail, discussed all the important shots we wanted and the do’s and don’ts. On the day Lindsay was so full of energy and smile’s. All of our families complimented her kind and chatty nature. She had everything organised so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We received a few ‘sneak peak’ pictures a couple of days later which were just fantastic. The quality of the pictures were incredible and the photo album was beautiful. There aren’t enough words to describe what a fantastic job Lindsay did, all I can say is book her immediately!

What can I say… the Jasmine Cottage Studio is something else! Lindsay is an absolute dream and we fell in love with her from our very first call. We had spoken to a few photographers when deciding who to go with and before we had even finished our call with Lindsay we knew she was going to be our photographer. She is so easy to talk to and makes you feel so ease! The communication was second to none all through out our planning. When it came to our wedding day- Lindsay fit in like she was one of our guests. Every single guest said how amazing she was and how they loved how she just fit into our group. Our sneak peak pictures had come through before the day had even ended and before she had left to go home so when I woke the next day it was the best feeling getting to see those photos! The photos are out of this world! Just simply stunning! I really could go on and on about how incredible Lindsay is! All I can say is you neeeed to book her because she will blow you away 🩷

We couldn't have chosen a better first venue to host our Lincs Weddings Pop Up Event. The grounds were impeccable and made for the perfect backdrop. Nothing was out of place. The attention to detail throughout the venue was amazing. A perfect location for any event!

Claire and Hannah sold the venue to me straight away, this isn't just a business for them it's so much more and that's really apparent. Some venues feel as though you're on a conveyor belt of weddings and that was definitely not the case here! Everything was simple and straight forward and nothing was too much trouble, they were always at the end of the phone. They did an amazing job setting up the venue and this honestly took so much stress away from the whole day. On the day I became a bit overwhelmed and they were so kind and understanding, changing things and reacting on the spot to make things comfortable for me so that we could continue to enjoy the day - and we really did. The home and gardens are obviously very beautiful and it feels grand whilst still feeling intimate and warm. The following day, Claire sent us a video she had captured of our special day, again not something she had to do, just a lovely personal touch that meant so much to us. Couldn't recommend enough!

Beautiful wedding venue, set in large gardens. Everything was perfect regarding the venue, the only thing I will say is at times there was a bit of a queue at the bar as sometimes they only had one bar man on, it wasn’t the quickest service (he also looked rushed off his feet!)

I have had the wonderful opportunity to photograph numerous weddings at this venue, and each time has been an absolute joy! Claire and Hannah, the amazing individuals behind the scenes, consistently go out of their way to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for both couples and photographers. Their warm hospitality and genuine care create a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit feel like coming home. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond make my job as a photographer easier! I can't wait to photograph here many more times!

Ruby was incredible. I changed the vision at least three times completely (sorry Ruby!) and she hit the nail on the head everytime. Her range and knowledge was so impressive. Ruby is so calm and everything felt completely under control, which was ideal because we are living in Australia. She made our day with every detail that she worked with (we had our stationary, flowers, decor and table settings from Ruby). Our venue was a really big space, so it thought it was going to be so difficult to make it feel less empty but Ruby did it! Highly recommend Ruby! 🤍 thank you again

I attended one of Ruby's wreath making workshops this week. It was such a fantastic experience to put us in the festive spirit. Ruby provided clear step by step instructions, and was attentive to the group if we needed help. There was a great selection of quality foliage and decorative items to choose from. This allowed us to put our individual stamp on our wreaths. Looking forward to booking again next year !!

Beautiful flower crown workshop! Ruby was absolutely amazing when she came to run a flower crown workshop for my daughters 8th birthday party. She arrived well prepared and well resourced, providing fresh flowers and all the required equipment to inspire the girls to make stunning creations. She was friendly and professional. The girls were taught the skills and supported, by Ruby, to independently create their crowns with a step by step demonstration. I would highly recommend Ruby.

I come back every year as it’s the best form of festive therapy ever! Ruby is fantastic and always has the best selection of foliage and accessories to create the most gorgeous wreath. She is so friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend more!

Carolina arranged our wedding in Sicily in April 24. We aren't great planners (hence enlisting her help) and with very little guidance she quickly understood us as a couple and managed to source THE most beautiful venue that was absolutely suited to what we wanted, all within our budget. She was helpful, available when we needed her, and empathetic. She and her team conjured the most wonderful, memorable three days, and we are forever grateful to them all. Recommended! X

I would highly recommend Carolina to anyone planning a wedding in Italy. We saved so many hours of research because of her knowledge and experience. She was able to recommend some amazing suppliers that ticked all boxes. Our wedding day felt so relaxed because of her being there and everything was just perfect on the day.

We had just 11 months to plan our wedding, so we thought there may have to be some compromises in venue etc. however, we didn't have to make any. All our vendors were amazing, everything was perfect, and there is absolutely nothing we would have changed. We had regular communication, quick replies, and full confidence everything was under control. Carolina and her team planned and coordinated a wedding in Tuscany where we were shooting. Their service to not only the couple but us vendors was top notch, their communication throughout the day and ahead of each formality was amazing, prioritising everybody knew what was happening. The bbq that The Food Dude provided was first class! From the initial meeting with Steve to choose our menu, to the preparation and service of the food, everything went smoothly without any worries. The food was delicious ( I was worried it might be overcooked as I had experienced at other bbq venues) and beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. A really friendly service and at a very competitive price. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Stubton hall simply gave us our "dream wedding" The Venue was fantastic. Food incredible and the rooms were absolutely beautiful. Big shout out to Laura who planned the wedding beautifully. Answered every question and nothing was to much trouble. Laura clearly loves her role at stubton. Staff were fantastic always looked after our needs and looked after our guests. Couldn't fault the location beautiful .Only two criticisms really ,the coffees and teas in our room wernt to our taste organic good old nescafe and tetleys tea would be better .We were in room 15 the bath was quite high to step into some would struggle to get into the bath and out could also do with safety rail to help get in .

We recently got married at Stubton and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Laura helped us to coordinate everything from day 1 until the end of our big day and she was amazing. No question was too big or too small or too random. Without Laura we would have been lost! The venue was stunning and well maintained. The rooms for our guests were perfect and made our guests feel special. The whole team at Stubton were professional throughout and helped to make our day special. We couldn't have asked for more or for anywhere better to hold our wedding, we have nothing but positive things to say about Stubton Hall, the staff and especially Laura. All of our guests have said how amazing it was and how beautiful.

Had the pleasure to photograph a couple of times now at Stubton Hall and it always seems to be magical. From a photography perspective with lighting and locations you really will get wonderful photos. The stair case is a super awesome setup along with the grounds. It is a local venue to me which is a bonus but if you are considering traveling to Stubton Hall to get married it has all the facilities to accommodate you. Each time i have worked there i have personally always had a positive experience and the staff have always been great to work along side.

What an amazing venue

We had our wedding reception at Stainton Manor this weekend just gone. The whole process was fantastic from start to finish. The venue was amazing, the food was brilliant. No guests left hungry, that’s for sure! Peter was so accommodating! Couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you very much
