Ruby was incredible. I changed the vision at least three times completely (sorry Ruby!) and she hit the nail on the head everytime. Her range and knowledge was so impressive. Ruby is so calm and everything felt completely under control, which was ideal because we are living in Australia. She made our day with every detail that she worked with (we had our stationary, flowers, decor and table settings from Ruby). Our venue was a really big space, so it thought it was going to be so difficult to make it feel less empty but Ruby did it! Highly recommend Ruby! 🤍 thank you again

I attended one of Ruby's wreath making workshops this week. It was such a fantastic experience to put us in the festive spirit. Ruby provided clear step by step instructions, and was attentive to the group if we needed help. There was a great selection of quality foliage and decorative items to choose from. This allowed us to put our individual stamp on our wreaths. Looking forward to booking again next year !!

What a beautiful venue! We married here on 3 August 2024 and the venue was perfect for our relaxed, intimate, countryside wedding. Nestled in Hagworthingham the venue is isolated enough for privacy and the tranquility of nature but convenient for local suppliers and transport. We were able to provide some decor of our own and also used some trusted suppliers we met at the open days. We were struggling when looking for venues with having 40 guests as we were either compromising on sharing space with other weddings/guests or we were concerned about the space being too large. Stockwith solved all of those worries with a cosy inside space for our wedding breakfast whilst having plenty of space for garden games, a fire pit and outdoor seating. The outside dance floor added an extra special touch to our first dance. Showers adorned our wedding morning but a plan B was in place and a swift move to the barn area made our outdoor wedding a possibility. Finally Kristi, Simon and Nichola were fantastic right from our initial enquiries, continuing through to the morning after. They supported our vision, helping it become a reality adding in their professional advice when asked. As someone who normally struggles to relinquish control, I felt completely confident and comfortable to sit back and enjoy the day. Kristi and the team ensured everything went smoothly and they went above and beyond with their attention to detail. I cannot praise this venue enough and Stockwith is a truly magical place to start married life celebrating with your friends and family. Perfect location, perfect day, perfect team. We fell in love with Stockwith Mill the first time we visited. Nichola and Kristi where both so inviting and the whole place had a lovely family focus around it. It didn’t feel corporate and the whole interactions felt very personalised and very easy going. The team clearly want to create a lovely experience for everyone instead of just taking your money and leaving you to it, which was so lovely to see. It’s clear that money is being reinvested into the place and it’s been lovely to see it change and develop since our first visit. The venue itself was perfect for our wedding, we were lucky enough with the weather and getting married on the field was truly special. Many guests were discussing how nice the venue was and it had a lot of breakout areas for just relaxing and enjoying the scenery, as well as dancing, drinking etc. Our photographer was spoilt for chose with picking somewhere to take photos as they were a lovely mixture of everything. We particularly enjoyed the marshmallows and fairy lights in the evening. Kristi’s hard work on the day meant everything ran smoothly. If there were any issues on the day, these where clearly addressed quickly and quietly as we didn’t know if anything had ‘gone wrong’. The band was set up with no fuss and the room cleared quickly for the evening. Kristi managed guests amazingly. For drinks there was a good choice available to all, we opted for the drinking package and then a few bottles on each table. There was plenty of choice and I particularly enjoyed my rose wine. We opted for one of the teams recommended wedding stylists and caterings. These where great and the food was amazing, the sharing platter and paella was amazing both in looks and tastes. Overall, we feel Stockwith mill is an excellent choice for a smaller more intimate wedding, within an exclusive, peaceful venue. 5/5

Stockwith Mill was our chosen venue for our wedding reception in August 2024. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and provided the most stunning backdrop to our wedding. The grounds are well kept and perfect for the kids to run around and have fun. The Stables are well presented and the bar was well stocked. Nichola, Kristi, Simon and the rest of the team were friendly, professional and welcoming from the first time we met them and ensure our day ran smoothly. There’s so many positives to this venue- plentiful parking, beautiful scenery, great team members, many photo opportunities, a relaxed environment, heated outdoor area, the list goes on! It was the perfect venue for our day and we’d love to do it all over again!

Used Events by Beau for my son’s 1st birthday party, asked about a few ideas for the style we wanted and they helped organise the theme, colours and what we wanted! Easy to arrange, and easily the best there is! Everything was hassle free and set prior to the party starting. Will be booking for future events!!

Couldn’t recommend her more. Hollie was recommended by my venue and was so kind and helpful. Completely understood my vision and went above and beyond to make the place look absolutely perfect. Even when I had to hire 100 extra chairs 2 days before my event, she made sure a whole second room was perfectly decorated to accommodate all my guests. Decor was pretty much the only thing I didn’t have to worry about as she took it completely off my hands and exceeded my expectations. Every detail was perfect and considerably more affordable than other decorators who were nowhere near as good. Absolutely wonderful, would recommend to anyone having a wedding or event

Millie & Jo you went above and beyond and ensured our day went without fault. The venue was perfect in every single way. I want to get married all over again 🫶. As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of wedding venues and so I can say with absolute certainty that Abbey Farm is one of the very best. Completely unique and has so many beautiful spots for your wedding photos. From cornfields, to meadows to woodlands, to beautiful barns and even a 13th century church - they have the lot all in one venue. Wonderful and helpful staff are on hand whenever you need them too. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Peacock and Bow enough - Katharine, Terry and the team are just the best. From start to finish everything was perfect - Katharine was so helpful, nothing was ever too much and she had so many great ideas! Katharine is so organised so everything ran so smoothly, and she was always at the end of the phone to answer all of our silly questions. Setting up the marquee and taking it down was so impressive to watch - so quick and professional and the whole team were lovely!! The team were so helpful in talking us through everything, and all was absolutely perfect on the day. The marquee itself was absolutely gorgeous and was everything we could’ve dreamed off. The beautiful round bar was epic and all of the details were just dreamy - from the shepherd’s crooks to the disco ball!! Honestly worth every penny and would recommend to everyone in a heartbeat!! There is always something (apparently) that doesn't quite go to plan on a wedding day but this was not one of them, the whole experience was stress free, professional and a dream. I can't recommend Peacock and Bow enough, they won't disappoint. It was worth every penny and I would not hesitate to book them again for an event.

Incredible! Olivia and I used peacock and bow for our wedding marquee and it was amazing! Everyone couldn’t believe the quality of the marquee and how beautiful It was! We had our wedding on 17/6/23. Leading up to the date Richard and Jasmine were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, they answered all our questions and made sure we were happy with everything leading up to the day. We had the Manor for the full weekend. The Manor and the grounds are stunning. Our weekend was perfect. Our wedding in the sunken garden was picturesque. Every room is stunning. I would recommend the Manor to anyone looking for a venue in Lincolnshire. Richard and Jasmine will make you feel welcome from your first meeting. The passion they have for the Manor and ensuring you have the best day or weekend is evident from the very beginning. Our wedding was everything we dreamed and more. We stayed at Woodhall Manor for Christmas 2023- What an amazing place to stay for Christmas ! 4 families comfortably enjoyed the wonderful surroundings . The large spacious bedrooms , enormous dining room, bar and sitting rooms made our stay very memorable . The staff prepared everything ahead of our stay . The house was warm and welcoming and for a large group you would struggle to find anywhere better where you can all stay in one house , everyone with their own space. Thank you Woodhall Manor , we would definitely stay again .

We had a wonderful stay at Woodhall Spa Manor for my 40th Birthday. Having found it online, we contacted Richard and Jasmine to ask if we could come and see it and they kindly gave us a full tour of the manor house and gardens, and found that the website doesn't do it justice! The house is wonderful - in particular the bedrooms, bar area (great for parties and events) and wooden panelled snug rooms. The gardens were also extensive and ideal for families. We were in frequent contact by email leading up to the event and found Richard and Jasmine to be very helpful and patient. The birthday party itself was perfect, with gorgeous weather meaning our band could play outside in the sunshine, but it would also have been great in the magnificent ballroom as well - a wonderful all weather's venue. All our guests had a lovely time and many commented how great it would be for other events - Christmas time or a murder mystery weekend. Thanks Richard and Jasmine!

We was lucky enough to have the Manor for a full weekend for our wedding celebrations. We visited Richard and Jasmine numerous times before our big day and nothing was any trouble for them, they was always so welcoming. Everything at the Manor we could personalise to how we wanted our perfect day. Everyone that shared our day commented how amazing the Manor was and the gardens and grounds being beautiful. We was so grateful to be able to have our ceremony in the sunken garden which was so magical. We cannot thank you enough for the most perfect memories that we can cherish forever. Can we do it all over again next weekend?!

As a very indecisive and unorganised couple, we needed help so put our trust in Jess. Choosing Jess as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made and enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams! Jess is so professional, organised and knowledgeable in every single department and we are so glad we hired Jess so early on in the planning. Jess has a wealth of amazing contacts and was always available to support us through the process. She is extremely hands on and provided a service that was worth every penny. Her and her team were phenomenal on the day and made sure everything went perfectly - she is also just a lovely person to spend time with whilst organising our big day! Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. Thank you so much Jess, it wouldn't have happened without you.

If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

We only looked around SWG for wedding venues and as soon as we saw this beautiful venue we booked the next day!
