Not registered at this vets but had a small emergency my dog had torn his dew claw which was hanging off, a little bloody and he was catching it. I rang Thompson vets at 1pm and they got him booked in and he was all sorted by 3pm . Staff lovely too very friendly and caring. Would highly recommend from my appointment we had. Very much appreciated also

Recently moved to area and needed a vet due to an emergency as we thought our pug broke her leg. Thompsons booked an appointment same day and dealt with issue amazingly! (No broken foot)

My 3 cats are my life! Lovely friendly staff who always make me feel welcome especially as an anxious person! I went in as an emergency thinking my kitten Nala had swallowed something as i felt a lump and she was hard swallowing, luckily all was fine just a play fight wound with tango mango💀and the lovely vet Ade didn’t even charge me as i think she knows i’m an anxious cat mom!😂 Dealing with my animals alone for the first time since losing my mum has been tough so receiving such kindness did more than you’ll ever know. Thankyou for all you do you’re all great!🫶🏽❤️

When you take on a rescue dog that has had a tragic start in life, there is a possibility that they will come with medical issues. My rescue hound Loki being one of them. I have had Loki for two years, and with the vets help and experience in diagnosing his conditions, he is living his best life. I find that the reception staff nurses and vets are all friendly and will do everything they can to help. Questions are answered fully without the use of medical descriptions so you understand what is wrong with your companion and the necessary treatments available / costs involved. There is a large car park, and the surgery is wheelchair friendly
