Lovely vets, I would go to say the best I have been in. The premises are reasonably new so everything is clean and tidy, with friendly staff who know what they are talking about. A little expensive at times for certain medical problems. Small carpark but a bit tricky if turning right onto the main road as it is on a blind corner

I had an exceptional experience at Ambivet with my beloved dog. From the moment we walked in, the staff showed genuine care and compassion. The vet, Nikki was not only highly knowledgeable but also patient in explaining my dog's condition and treatment options. The clinic was immaculate, and they handled my dog with the utmost gentleness. I left feeling reassured and grateful for the outstanding care they provided. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic to all pet owners.

Signed up with Ambivet Ilkeston for my first pet and I’ve been more than happy with everything. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and look after my baby, can’t thank them enough especially for today as my kitten has been spayed

Highly recommend Ambivet, Heanor. They are not our usual vet but we took one of my guinea pigs here when we needed an exotics specialist. My guinea pig needed surgery for what unexpectedly turned out to be cancer. I was really impressed with how they kept me informed about what was going on, and how they really did their best by my guinea pig. He sadly had to be euthanised this morning but I have no complaints about the quality of treatment he received and I am very grateful that we were allowed time with him before he had to be put down, and that we were able to take his brother and their friend to say goodbye to him as I feel it made a difference to both the guinea pig who has died and the two left behind. I felt like the staff really treated him with respect and cared about him which isn't always the case with small animals as not everyone understands how much small animals mean to their owners but at Ambivet Heanor they seemed to understand that. He was treated kindly and with compassion and everyone we spoke to was very professional yet also very kind, and I'm really grateful for that. We are very sad that he has died but I really appreciate you all doing your best for him. Thank you all so much.
