I originally noticed M. Gregory of Protecta Pest Control (Gregg) from the advert on a parked car's window. Impressed by his credentials and the way my initial enquiry was handled, I added him to my contact list in case I needed his services. Came the day when I did! Alarmed at the sight of the tail-end of a rat as it disappeared from view when I lifted the access panel in my verandah decking to check something, I realised I may have a problem. Time to call Greg! Today he made a thorough inspection of the 32ft x 9ft area enclosed by my raised verandah. It required him to crawl on all fours. He found no sign of any droppings or nest, nor anything that would attract vermin to stay, and concluded there was no problem needing treatment. I was relieved to know that the rat I saw was simply a member of the wildlife community passing by and popping in to have a look before moving on. And I was perfectly prepared and happy to pay for Gregg's time and skill - but he wouldn't accept any payment. I was amazed and grateful for his expertise, care and courtesy.
