Gregg from Protecta Pest Control came to my property to resolve an issue with a wasp nest in the top of my roof. Gregg was very friendly & knowledgeable. Gregg provided a video from the pole tool used to treat the nest, this provided a clear view on how the wasps entered. I would highly recommend!! Professional, friendly & a fair price! Thank you!

I originally noticed M. Gregory of Protecta Pest Control (Gregg) from the advert on a parked car's window. Impressed by his credentials and the way my initial enquiry was handled, I added him to my contact list in case I needed his services. Came the day when I did! Alarmed at the sight of the tail-end of a rat as it disappeared from view when I lifted the access panel in my verandah decking to check something, I realised I may have a problem. Time to call Greg! Today he made a thorough inspection of the 32ft x 9ft area enclosed by my raised verandah. It required him to crawl on all fours. He found no sign of any droppings or nest, nor anything that would attract vermin to stay, and concluded there was no problem needing treatment. I was relieved to know that the rat I saw was simply a member of the wildlife community passing by and popping in to have a look before moving on. And I was perfectly prepared and happy to pay for Gregg's time and skill - but he wouldn't accept any payment. I was amazed and grateful for his expertise, care and courtesy.

From the moment we got in touch with Protecta they were amazing. Gregg was round the next day and was so helpful with finding our issue. As two fairly new home owners with little knowledge of all things DIY/pest control, we really needed someone with experience and Gregg had that and more. He even popped round again when my wife sent an SOS the following day. Thank you so much for your help Gregg, hopefully we won’t need you again but if we do you’ll be the first person we call.

Called Gregg from Protecta Pests to assess a rat problem in my house. He discovered a nest in the attic and multiple access points around the house. I’ve recently had to use Chris due to having mice in my kitchen cupboards and loft. If you ever find yourself in the same situation then I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.He visited my house four times in total,the first three times two weeks apart and then the last time left it a month just to make sure that the mice had gone.He’s reliable and reasonable and he’d be the first person I’d call if I ever have any more problems in the future.

Rats. Weird things, but however much we appreciate their intelligence they're not good house guests. Chris really helped calm my partner with his relaxed authority and reassurance, and making us aware this is never a quick fix, which is vitally important. I'm certain the rats have moved on (or died) now but would have no hesitation in calling Musca at any time in the future.

Brilliant service! Chris is helpful, responsive and effective. Had three visits from Chris as we noticed we may have rats in the basement - he got rid of the problem quickly and gave us advices what to do to avoid having this problem in the future. Just amazing… I could leave it at that to be fair. Reported a wasp nest under the fascia of our bungalow & Andrew came straight over with a couple of hours. He explained the whole process from start to finish along with what to expect afterwards. Highly recommend, had a rat causing havoc in the kitchen, Mason arrived the same day of calling and located a redundant drain pipe under the kitchen floor subsequently letting rats in from the sewer. He fit a non return valve the same day to prevent any new rats coming in and set some bits up inside to deal with anything already in. Tim is a bit of a local hero! We contacted a number of companies after unsuccessfully trying to deal with a rat problem for a couple of weeks and getting rid of a mole since the summer. Tim was responsive and provided us with by far the most competitive quote for the work. The issue was dealt with within 3 weeks. With a baby on the way we were keen to deal with the issue sooner rather than later and were quoted for 7 + visits elsewhere. No wonder Tim ‘popped in’ and resolved the issue for us in 3 visits- he is extremely knowledgeable and does not mess around! 5* - can’t recommend Tim highly enough!

Excellent service. We had a squirrel in the loft. I rang and Tim on the doorstep within a couple of hours (even though it was his wife's birthday). Thankfully within 24 hours the squirrel problem was sorted. Would highly recommend.

Extremely swift response. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Problem was bats not mice so couldn't help as they're a protected species. No hesitation in recommending their service.

Chris was able to come over and sort the issue the same day. He diagnosed the potential cause and advised a solution. He set the water based incecticide bombs and we left the rooms for a couple of hours. When we returned there was no residue or chemical smell, you couldn’t tell anything had been set off. Chris was fantastic. I called because I had a rodent problem at a flat I owned and the tenant was extremely upset. Chris was able to get there the same day I called him, liaised with the tenant and kept working on the issue until he was able to make sure that all of the rodents were gone and couldn’t gain access again. He was very good at communicating what was going on and was extremely proactive in his approach. I couldn’t recommend more high.

Had a problem for several months and dealt with the council without success before we used H&Co's services. Chris was very friendly and identified the problem on a first visit. It only took few more visits to sort out the issue altogether. We received quotes from larger services and they are extortionate compared to H&Co. Chris is incredibly knowledgable about his craft and is very dedicated to his work. He was very responsive and keen to help. Had a very annoying rat problem with vermin running up and down the cavity walls of an old house. Chris from H& Co. did an excellent job over 3 visits laying poison, bait and traps in the affected areas and fitting a one-way valve in the sewer. Very pleased with the results as the scuttling noises are gone and the price was reasonable. Chris was excellent to deal with throughout always explaining his methods and what he'd found and pointing out areas that were more vulnerable or attractive to rats and suggesting solutions. Highly recommended!

Rang them at 10am spoke to Mark who was superb from the start gave me the detail and answers i needed. So rang back up booked it for next day very competitive price then he found the time to get to my house same day and my ‘wasps’ were gone when i got home!! Highly recommend you give Derby Wasp Control a call. My wife and I try never to harm any creature great or small but we had wasps nesting above our bedroom window in the soffit. We hoped they would move on, but they just increased in number and we started to hear them getting inside, above the bedroom ceiling. Don't wait like we did. Was just by chance was with my builder and notice wasps going in and out a couple holes in the mortar and was told by the builder I have a wasps nest. Called up next morning and chris came out same day and sorted the issue. I was told they may be angry for couple hours not being able to go back home and there was an increase of activity at that point but after checking the angry residents after their eviction they disappeared in less than an hour. Very happy as they started making their way up the wall cavity coming into the bathroom which I hadnt realised as thought maybe because window been left open and they got in that way.
