Ive been here to private parties and a after a funeral what a fantastic place staff are amazing the lady that runs it goes above and beyond so do her staff .Would recommend to everyone .Also there catering is amazing too .

Great golf course. Some stunning holes. Very picturesque. Challenging but great fun. Will certainly be back. Staff in the Club House were extremely friendly & did everything they could to make our Charity Golf Day go really well.

Great setting, beautiful course, very well laid out and challenging. Challenging opening hole and one of the best finishing holes I've played. The 18th is quite special. We'll done to your grounds staff to present such a lovely course. Staff very friendly, and members are also helpful and friendly. Bar food quality is excellent. I would have given 5 stars, but for.... we played on beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, our Tee was after their members competition, we were nearly finished when we met a four ball and one member was dresses in 3/4 length trousers, round neck leasure T-shirt and to top it all Open toe sandals, no socks....... unbelievable. What's that about? It's totally disrespectful. I've played in hotter condition and hotter countries and have never seen a player dress like that before

Going to Northcliffe Pro Shop is a brilliant experience - Matt is attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. We talked about what I was looking for and he gave me helpful advice, and let me test different clubs, without any pressure. It felt like a really personal experience and I could tell he genuinely wanted to make sure I found the right fit. The shop itself has a great selection, with plenty of offers, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place if you're in the market for golf gear either for yourself or as a gift for a loved one. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Matt. You won’t be disappointed!

My son, my sister in law and I would just like to thank Dave the manager at Northcliffe golf club and his fantastic team Vicky and Verity for looking after us so well after the recent passing of my husband. We held the funeral tea there and Dave, Vicky and Verity couldn’t do enough to support us which we all found very comforting. The venue was beautiful and the food outstanding. The lessons I had from this place have been impeccable, the pro shop and the clientele are second to non! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get into golf the best place to start!

Had my wedding here on 4th june 2022 and what a fantastic day it was. The food was fantastic and every guest compliment how nice the food was and how nice the venue was. Toni the golf club manager really did go above and beyond to make sure my day was fantastic. I want to say how good she was at providing food for a vegan and celiac guest they were amazed at the food they recieved. I will deffo be back when another family party or get together is called for. Once again toni thank you so much and I will remember this day forever ❤️

Such a lovely afternoon.

Fantastic layout in great condition. There are lots of interesting holes that provide a good challenge for all levels of golfers. The greens were best the best we have played this year and we have been to some prestigious courses. It is also set within the grounds of a nature reserve with great views on many holes. Great practice facilities to warm up including a covered driving range and the halfway house was open on Wednesday when we played. Great value at £40 for a top quality round of golf.

This is a fantastic course that is available at a great place for it's quality. I genuinely think it's offering the sort of golf course for a normal price that others around Yorkshire are charging double. It's a great course layout, really enjoyable challenge and nicely set around the lake. It's got a great driving range to warm up on too.

Lovely little place to enjoy a late afternoon drink on a fresh wintery day. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly which is a massive plus. Will be coming back to try the food one day as it sounds amazing. Cheap prices too. 5/5

Decent course, testing walk. Course is in pretty good condition. Not particularly challenging for medium/long hitters with a driver not required on any holes. Good variety of par 3s and a couple of drivable par 4s. 2nd/11th and 9th/18th are very severely uphill which will be challenging to walk for unfit/older golfers (we’re talking a good 70m elevation change in one hole. I’m fit and was out of puff by the end). Greens in decent condition, fairly paced for February. Winter tees among the best I’ve played. Can imagine the 5th/14th is a nightmare in-season/on weekends due to walkers/runners/dogs as a public right of way runs the whole length of the hole & across it. Would be a good course for beginners/shorter hitters but it’s a hard walk.

Great 9 hole gem that’s in good condition, greens are great but slow. Good customer service and decent prices all round! My mum and sister were able to walk scenic public footpaths in and around the course while we played golf.

I mean I love this place I’m a new member and I can’t believe how nice it is and the driving range is free I absolutely love this place update y’all one of my family members had a slight car crash and without hesitation one of the staff got out and helped her calm down checked she was okay and then came back later before my parents arrived and helped her again and guess what it wasn’t even near the golf club and he didn’t know I was related to the person and he still helped

Only visited to get my Powakaddy repaired. David was very pleasant and efficient. The motor was changed in a matter of minutes. Great service. I have played the course before and it's a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend

Attended for a 70th birthday with ~30 people, had a delicious 3 course dinner of arancini, chicken with vegetables and sticky toffee pudding. All were delicious. Red and white wine on table also very high qualitg. Private room with view out over course. Big car park. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Really enjoyed it and would recommend for a special occasion large group booking. Golf course looked good, which I hope to come back and play

For autumnal golf this place is great. A little wet in places but the natural undulations of the course help naturally get rid of that water under foot feeling you get at most clubs in the North of England. Amenities are strong, with beautiful clubhouse, pro shop & practise area from chipping to putting. Staff are very friendly and very accommodating, can’t wait to go back!

I bought a set of golf clubs from the online shop which arrived next day as expected. Unfortunately one of the clubs was faulty and a replacement was arranged and sent out immediately. The same issue happened to a second club and Express Golf offered a full refund and arranged for the set to be collected. The customer service was excellent during this process and despite the clubs being damaged we will definitely use Express Golf again.

I have always had top service when purchasing clubs. Had a putter fitting and never looked back since. Got the Srixon Zx7 irons this may. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now for any golf equipment. Thank you.

Easy to book a round, buy from the shop or book onto the driving range, all from the app. The course is a great ball keeper as the fairways are nice and wide. If your like me and reintroducing yourself back into golf, it's a great course.

An awesome experience at this driving range. Excellent help and assistance from Andy. The systems have been updated so scoring and progress is digital and can be tracked via an app. Overall amazing day out. 100 balls for £8 60 balls for £6 30 balls for £4 Prices for the driving range are reasonable too, I will be trying out the coaching and will write another review.

Had a great day on the Underpin charity day. Shipley golf course was in fantastic condition. Staff, food atmosphere amazing.

This course is beautiful with great history. Nathan, the pro was so kind, even after running late because our rental car broke down. We didn’t specify that we needed rental clubs in the booking and he still ran to the basement and put some together while his other 2 sets were booked out already. I couldn’t recommend this beautiful course more. It’s unique features as an Alister McKenzie course brings holes that crossover like a plane runway. You can play the original amen corner. This is a must play at a great price!

Called in today for lunch. Food was very tasty. Friendly staff. Good price would definitely recommend a visit.

Nice club cheap drink for a cricket club car park not the best needs tar macking

Fab Sunday dinner, roast lamb was perfect. Fresh fruit meringue nest was tasty. Lovely bar staff and kitchen staff, nothing is too much trouble.

Booked an Afternoon Tea party for my mum's 90th Birthday, it was lovely. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented on pretty vintage china. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after so well. Mum was really happy. Shout out to Trysha, the catering staff and bar staff. Would highly recommend this venue to all.
