Proud to be a member at handsworth golf club. The course layout is fantastic and complemented by the new 3 hole and fantastic clubhouse which overlooks the lake..

I had a great experience playing here. I did find it a little tricky going round for the first time. I honestly only made it to the 17th hole before I had to give in. I will be back here though as the place is homely and the greens are lush.

First time playing here, really enjoyed the experience, great facilities, beautiful course, challenging holes. I'd heard stories of snotty members and fussy staff, but didn't experience that personally. Will definitely be back. A+

The course was in excellent condition, only spoilt by the copious amounts of geese excrement over the majority of the fairways. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food we had was nice.

Wow, we have used Hatchford brook on many occasions however I am so over the moon that we had our wedding party here. After eloping abroad we decided to have our wedding party here and what a fantastic idea it was. Shay was brilliant in helping organise everything as was Kerry, super helpful and on hand answering any questions really quickly. The food was amazing, like really good! The staff on the night were super friendly and even got involved in our evening making it extra special, nothing was too much for them. I cannot recommend having any function here, it’s a lovely room and well worth the money, great value for money. Thank you hatchford brook for the best night ever!

We absolutely love the breakfast in here, you will not get better poached eggs anywhere!! Nice, spacious, comfortable and quiet environment to sit and and have breakfast 👌🏼

I used Aston Woods to hold my Wife’s wake and can I just say thank you so much. It was a large funeral approx 200 people. We were given the Fotherly suite at the back of the clubhouses overlooking the golf course.(it also has a very large patio area outside and fortunately the weather gods were on our side)the buffet was excellent and so were the staff.Finally a massive thank you to the management team of Lucy and John they were superb from start to finish nothing was too much trouble.Thank you Aston Woods for making a sad day so beautiful I would recommend this place to anyone

We get to work at a lot of Golf Clubs, at a recent wedding we found the staff @ Aston Wood Golf Club, very polite & helpful, the drinks were well priced, easy access and loads of parking first rate keep up the good work guys

Beautiful Golf Club with a great course not so far from Birmingham City Center.. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend a visit. Located between Solihull and berkswell. Has the longest hole, par 6 720 yards with an 18 hole, par 72 (6288 yard), public, parkland golf course designed by Mark Harrhy, Nigel Harrhy & David Griffith.

Somehow, off a 9 handicap index I had a 7 playing handicap! Maybe it was the 45mph wind but it wasn't easy! Some stunning holes.... 1 is a nice opener 2 is a risk reward 3 a cracking par 5 up hill! 4 a quirky little par 3 with a 10 foot layered green 8 the par 6! (Bit bland actually but still a par 6 at 666yds off the yellows and 725 off the blues! Back 9 equally had some really nice variety of holes, ending with the TPC Sawgrass style 17th which is the final test at West Midlands. The welcome was less than perfect but as a golf course...well worth a trip

Awesome experience. Beautiful place in the nature with great views, plenty of place to take a short walk, sit and have a sip of tea/coffee. We also ordered some foods. Nachos was very good. Prawn cocktail, however, was not. Coffee was one of the best I have ever had. Going again for sure.

Attended a wedding here. Wonderful place.Staff were friendly and always smiling and with beautiful surroundings. Also have a large well stocked fishing lake

Course Management, Course Management, Course Management. It's the name of this game here. As the name suggest its a hilly course, however it's not as bad ad it may sound. To be honest it really is one of my favourite courses. Beautifully laid out and a pleasure to play. It's just a shame when the round is finally over. Note there is not really much of a club house but never mind, there is a really nice pub only two minutes away to wash away those missed Par's.

First time playing here. Lovely course in tiptop condition with fantastic views of surrounding area. Very hilly, would suggest a buggy if legs not what they once were! Can't wait for a second round there.

Attached to the Lickey Hills country park, another huge amount of land. Numerous golf holes around the acres of this course. The sand pits and the Greenland seem well maintained although obviously from a lot of use there is a few holes from the golf clubs. If you don't fancy playing golf it also makes a great walk but you will have to stick to the edges. Dogs are allowed here as well kept under control. There is a car park at the entrance and if you walk a long the edge you will come to the cafe and seating area so you can grab drinks and something to eat here as well.

Haven't played the course for 20+ years, maybe nostalgic but I loved it, soggy and wet after all the rain, greens were shocking but the setting and challenge was so good, when in good condition this course is a test for the best of players.

Held my husbands retirement party here on Friday night (1st November), fab service and communication from Adam from booking through to night itself, food lovely and all bar staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you Adam and team for all your help, wont hesitate to come back when its the next party.

Booked for a suprise 70th the venue is clean, carnt fault anything, the staff are extremely helpful nothing was to much trouble, they allowed us to decorate the function would definitely consider for future events

Played here for first time after several days of rain and course was still good. Bunkers need some work but everywhere else was better than expected. The team were great - friendly and approachable, very happy to help. Appreciated - the welcome makes all the difference!

We hosted our 30th anniversary event at Pype Hayes Golf Club and it was a great success. The team were very accommodating and we received fantastic service before, during and after the event with no request too much trouble. We were very impressed with the food on the night and the overall running of the event. Big thanks to Adam who led on this event for us and all the team for their help, we'd definitely recommend this venue for your event.

Had the best overnight stay, afternoon tea and breakfast! The staff couldn't do enough for us, were attentive and friendly from start to finish. So nice to hear from one member of staff during breakfast how much they loved the place. Michelle was lovely throughout the afternoon tea. Sam W and Lucy were brilliant throughout our massages, professional and so knowledgeable! Already booking our next stay for March.

What a fantastic afternoon tea my husband and I have just had! Food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We had plenty of time to finish which was good as there was plenty of food and free drink refills. A special mention to Alyson and Michelle, our servers, who were very attentive and down to earth. All that for £49 - bargain!

Also it has to be shared is that Alyson the waitress was a joy to speak too with smiles and laughter,and so considerate and kind with precious Mom. It was a special day for us all as we was celebrating our 89 year old Mom's breast cancer being smaller than previous scans.

Alison & Michelle were fantastic hosts at our Afternoon Tea. Food was beautifully presented and way too much to eat! Took all the cakes back with us to enjoy later in the day. Unlimited tea, coffee and fruit juices was a lovely bonus. Beautiful setting and food. Lovely experience.

What a great little course. Six of us had a free day as the Test Match finished early. I don’t think we could have enjoyed it more. It’s a challenging Par3 with very small greens and punishing rough. It’s easy just to turn up and play as entry is through a turnstile you unlock for £6 with a contactless payment. It was a super sunny day and so I couldn’t recommend it more highly ⛳️

Six quid, 100 balls, perfect. Self service contactless card machine, pop your basket in, touch your card, grab your balls and you're off. Plenty of bays, quality netting protection from stray balls off other players. 200yd drive is plenty.

This is a brilliant golf course it is 9 holes only, but it is challenging. There are two streams that run through the course, and they effect around 5 out of the 9 holes? It makes the course challenging yet really fun! However beware, you will probably lose some golf balls should you come where (last time I lost about 5 Haha)
