“Easily one of the best courses in the UK. Having been at the club a number of times the past two years it has consistently impressed me. The greens on the Highgate are unbelievably good. Not a blemish on them and as fast as anywhere you will play. The overall course condition is fabulous as well. Some of the prettiest holes I’ve seen. Top notch practise facilities. The club and its staff are wonderful. They couldn’t have done enough to make our tournaments a total success. I would recommend Enville to anyone that plays golf. I can’t wait to go back!”

“Really nice course and clubhouse. It's got a quality series of par 3 holes - all of them are very good. I was disappointed when we got stuck behind a six-ball that jumped in. I'm not sure if that's a regular thing members do here, but i still enjoyed the course and facilities.”

“Played here and considering a very wet winter the course was in excellent condition! What impressed most was the welcome as a visitor we were made to feel very welcome by staff and the other members! It felt to us like the club had a very nice culture throughout! Will certainly return!”

“Great 27 hole golf course consisting of three loops of 9 holes. Very well maintained and in excellent condition. Very friendly golf shop that is well stocked and equally friendly clubhouse staff. Looked like the clubhouse would be available for events though not 100% sure. Tee booking unavailable but we turned up on a Friday and had no problem playing a round. £65 (on the Friday we played) but county cards accepted.”
Edgbaston Golf Club
25 Church Rd, Birmingham B15 3TB, UK

“Outstanding course, both design and management have leant themselves to the production of one of (if not, the) best courses in the Midlands. Staff are friendly and are always on hand to help, coupled with the variety of services available at the course (fittings/ lessons) ensure that they cater to all needs. Clubhouse is well stocked and seating is abundant. The course itself offers a wide variety of challenges, while boasting a long dogleg par 5, and numerous challenging par 3's. The use of topography has also benefited the course layout. Visitation is highly recommended, and accompanied by a suggestion of ensuring you plan enough time to take in the views at the end.”

“I'm a relatively new member here and it is a great course. Some players will no doubt complain at the lack of water hazards but make no mistake this is a real challenge. Trees everywhere, lots of bunkers, and some very quick greens in summer. The club house is a nice place to be, with good people and great food.”

“Great parkland course, greens quite fast, nicely manicured. Clubhouse has had plenty of money spent on it, and it shows. Great visitor changing and shower facilities, bar area very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the 18th and the rest of the course. Great signature hole over water at the 5th. Staff accommodating and welcoming.”

“This is a must do for anyone who hasn’t yet enjoyed the whole experience. The people have been so accommodating and helpful from the moment we arrived and made the pre golf greetings to the club warm and welcoming. The course was presented in an amazing condition, particularly for the time of year and amount of rainfall we have had. A beautiful heathland course that plays fairly. Be warned; there is plenty to punish you if you are too wayward. Greens are true and a good test of the short club skills. We stayed for lunch and had a very nice and well presented light lunch from club kitchen. Well worth staying for and a nice Guinness to celebrate.”
