The Best Golf Courses in Hollingbourne, Kent, United Kingdom (2025)

This has to be the best golf courses in kent for all beginners it's 12 holes. There's no coffee shop or bar, no having to book a tee time. They are all par 3 apart from 3 par 4. And best of all it's only £125 a year. Everyone one is friendly and helpful. So what's better in kent?

Thoroughly enjoyed the course, was perfect for my cousin who is just starting to get into the game!

Excellent course, people and club. Highly recommend joining for £125 and the competitions are great fun.

Course in great condition. Greens are very fast and I seem to find a lot of the trees just lately. Not busy Sunday evening just lovely peaceful golf followed by a cold pint in the clubhouse.

Hired out the venue off the bar for the wife's 40th, went without a hitch!! Staff were awesome and really easy and helpful to deal with. Highly recommend. Thanks for having us.

Here for a corporate event. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic and came out fast. Will visit here again for leisure. Golf course looks very smart and picturesque.

Gillingham Ladies Darts League held our annual presentation night at Gillingham Golf Club last night (17th Nov). It is a fantastic venue. The management and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Tracie and team went above and beyond. From the 95+ Ladies who attended last night, it's a big thank you from us. Most definitely will be booking the venue for 2023.

Attended for a funeral wake, pleasant environment, good food and service. Some golfers appeared to be a little miffed at not having the place to themselves!

Hosted as a private venue for my granddaughters 3rd birthday party today! And ...wow !! Absolutely fantastic ! The food was outstanding a different level. The service and atmosphere was outstanding ! Soo professional .. friendly and very efficient.We were so well looked after and nothing was too much trouble, we all had such a fabulous time and were in no rush to leave ! Thank you soo much for the hospitality provided. The best venue by far 👌

Had the pleasure of photographing a 21st birthday here. A very stylish venue, with welcoming and attentive bar staff. Amazing and tasty food! I hope to photograph here again.

Held a Society day here yesterday. What a warm welcome. Fantastic staff and so helpful. Loved that the Chef came out to specifically check what we needed and when and the welcome notice to our group on the coffee table.. Beautiful course and in great condition. Brilliant communication with Mike regarding our ever changing booking and very accommodating. Just an all round wonderful venue. Thanks for a great day.

Came here on Friday the 22nd. Course was in excellent condition despite the freezing temperatures, the front 9 greens were frozen but back 9 was fine. The Fairways were in great condition and ground staff were doing their best to keep leaves tidied up. Food and drink in the players lounge was also welcoming and tasty.

Held our daughters 21st here. It was a fantastic night. All the staff were fabulous, from the girls organising, the security and all the front of house guys. They couldn’t be more helpful. The bar was really busy and H, Darren and the staff coped brilliantly. We have had so many comments that is was a brilliant party. Would definitely recommend holding a party here.

Unfortunately played while a heavy frost was on, but an absolute pleasure to play in such a picturesque course. Will be back when it is less frozen, great course, nice staff and good facilities. Value for money.

I played at Leeds Castle golf club for the first time a few weeks ago and I will definitely be going back, the course is kept in brilliant condition and is a brilliant challenge.

Great little 9 hole course through the picturesque grounds of Leeds Castle. There is always the option to go around again to make it 18 holes.

The pro in the shop was really helpful, the course was beautiful, I had an 8 on the par 3 8, I nearly broke my club but I still had a lovely day playing against the backdrop of Leeds Castle. I would highly recommend!

First round on this course. It’s in great condition. Staff in the pro shot are amazing. Members are all very helpful. Can’t wait to play again

Excellent golf course. Very smart bar/restaurant. Very cosy with down lighting. So not a lot of natural light inside. The have a substantial outside seating area with fire pit and down heaters.The course layout has changed from 7 years ago.

Gareth has taught my children for years and is a patient, intuitive teacher. The boys love him; his pace and teaching skills are second to none! He makes the game fun but also sets them up to be capable players.

I’ve had numerous lessons with Gareth (Bailey) and cannot recommend him enough. His style of coaching means that he is patient, calm and encouraging and everything is tailored to your individual ability. Can’t wait to try out his new studio at the golf course !!

If you’re in need of some golfing first aid, then just book a lesson with Gareth. His simple, no nonsense approach will definitely do the trick. Gareth doesn’t overload you with too much information or fill your head with multiple swing thoughts. He just concentrates on the fundamentals of YOUR swing and what you can do to make the improvements that will make all the difference. Highly recommended 👍

Family of 7 total beginners went to use the driving range for some fun. Such lovely friendly people there, showed us what to do and came round and was cheering us on too. 10000 percent recommend. The equipment is really good too. Lovely place, will definitely e returning. Thank you for a lovely afternoon making memories as a family. Your hospitality was appreciated ❤️🏌️‍♂️

Lovely golf course, first time me and my son went down today 8/9. We only did the driving range just to get the feel of the club to see if my son like it and he did. Went to pro shop and the young lad in there very polite and told me there the driving range was. Will be back to play a round when the weather isn't so wet

We attended a wedding reception. The venue was lovely and the food delicious. The service was very good. I'm a blur badge holder and my only criticism would be that there seemed limited disabled parking for the numbers that were attending.

Beautiful views whilst playing on a beautifully kept course. Greens in September were exceptional. Nice wide course so very forgiving. Some nice long par fours and tricky par threes. Not that hard a course but very enjoyable. Restaurant, cafe and bar are very nice. The staff throughout were very nice and friendly. Hotel looks like a lovely place to stay. We had a day of rain, so must visit again in better weather! All round good place to visit.

Great course. Stunning conditions and set up. Has a good range of holes, some tricky and others a bit more simple. Definitely worth another visit. Value for money is also very good with a quality driving range.
