A real test of links golf. The days we were there the rough was long and tough which coupled with the tight fairways made it quite tricky - even more so on the second day as it was blowing 15-20 mph. Greens were very fair and true though tough with subtle breaks. The par 3s were very difficult and fantastic. Excellent value with great beer and fantastic sit down lunch (tie and jacket required), as well as a very modern locker room with invigorating showers, but make sure you bring plenty of balls.

Fantastic Camber golf course. Lovely views towards Dungeoness and Camber, across the bay to Winchelsea and far reaching Walland/Ronney Marsh and the peak of Rye citadel in the distance. All year round, plenty of parking, helipad. Lovely greens.
