2 great courses on chalk so DRY. Ladies behind the bar are great. Reception could learn something!!

Played this lovely course on February 5th....it was in super nick, unbelievably dry and firm under foot, greens running true and excellent tee boxes. Certainly a hidden gem in Hampshire and great value for money!!

me and my nephew played on Wednesday,,,,,, I only been playing 9 months,,,, Great up,,,,friendly staff on arrival, Course was tidy,the maintenance team were out redoing the bunkers,,, they green keepers were in and around most hole on the way out but communicated well so we can play through,,, Good mix of tech and the occasional long hole,,, We both really enjoyed it,,,😁 Will definitely return as the vibe was great,,,, Many thanks Weybrook park,,

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Golf Club, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. The course is beautifully maintained, offering both challenging holes and scenic views. Yesterday we hired this venue for a baby shower event and to quote our guests 'this was the classiest baby shower they had ever been to'. All the team at the club couldn't do enough to help - the room decor was perfectly matched, the afternoon tea delicious and the general setting and atmosphere around the club made the event go perfectly. Thoroughly recommend this venue hire for special occasions.

Good Top Tracer range upgrade, friendly golf club and staff! I would say one of the best value for money clubs in the area. The course is improving year on year.

Great hotel and Golf Courses! Stayed here in October with a group of golfers and had a great time. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff who really looked after our group on an Autumn Sunday evening. 3 challenging groups of 9 holes with different characteristics so both the rounds we played felt different. Overall a great break.

A great value for a golf weekend from London. The course is enjoyable with some challenging traps—our group took about five hours to finish 18 holes. The next day, a tournament caused delays, and slow play ahead meant we only got through half the course. The hotel rooms are spacious, dinner was decent, but breakfast was a letdown. Overall, still a solid and affordable option for a golf getaway.

Fabulous place huge rooms, super comfy beds, very friendly helpful staff and beautiful grounds. Restaurant has excellent food, my poached eggs for breakfast were done to perfection.

Played in a charity day here (and have done for several years). A really good course, challenging yet forgiving (on a couple of holes atleast) the course was in great condition, the staff helped run the day efficiently and all in all it was a good day raising money for a local charity. Would recommend playing here anytime, we were lucky with the weather today, however I have played when it is wet and the course drains really well. Enjoy!

Fairways lovely, green are nice and quick although most quite flat. Course generally is in very good condition. Lovey setting too. We arrived and ignored at the shop for a fair few minutes. Tip - however busy people are, please encourage them to acknowledge your existence and say you’ll be with you shortly. Nothing worse than a visitor not feeling welcome

We recently had our wedding day at Blacknest and could not have asked for a better day! A lot of that was down to the amazing staff they have there, and a very special mention to Vicky and Georgia who brought everything together! The team went above and beyond to make everything we asked for happen and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it! We cannot thank Vicky and the team enough for everything they did! Vicky was also brilliant at explaining how everything would work and made sure the day ran smoothly! Thank you again everyone, I wish we could do it all again! ❤️

Today we had a family lunch at Blacknest Golf and Country Club, which was exceptionally nice. The staff were professional and attentive, the food was extremely nice and certainly tasted superb. Given the circumstances of the golf course renovation a real hidden gem well worth a visit. Mike S

The stunning countryside setting provides a beautiful backdrop for outdoor tipi ceremonies and portraits, while the modern interiors offer elegant space for bridal prep. The golf courses are alright for the cost good yardage, views and the greens are ok. However the food is excellent well worth a visit, a warm and welcoming unusual clubhouse.

My husband & I got married here in June 2024. We couldn’t fault East Horton at all. From the planning leading up to the big day, to the day itself, everything was perfect. Played the Greenwood Course, was very well kept lovely greens and tee boxes. Burger and pint after was great too

I don't play golf, but was invited to a function at the club. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, and the carvery was amazing. I won't take up golf, but I'd definitely attend another event!

This will certainly become one of the"must play" courses in the South of England. Immaculate greens and superbly sculptured holes, combined with a glorious clubhouse experience.

Absolutely fantastic, the way they handled the arrival and the Wake as a whole was to be admired, This Golf Club appeared to be brand new but my reason for visiting was the Wake of a good friend and around 100 persons came from the funeral. Well done Basingstoke Golf Club you were brilliant.

Driving range good and price for balls good. The course is ok, it could do with better drainage and some TLC around the greens but a good test of golf. The cafe, clean, hot food, nice atmosphere and your made to feel welcome.

Went to use the driving range with my son. Was pretty decent although only a few automated bays on the lower level, one of which was broken. Have a shop but there's only really balls and tees for sale. Would be a great place if it got a little update and modernization. Haven't played the course lately, to comment on that.

Reasonably priced round, course mostly dry for the time of year, one or two muddy holes. Nice Parkland setting with an interesting layout, greens are small, reasonably playable but suffering from a fair amount of animal damage and un-repaired pitch marks. Some incredibly slow 4 balls seemingly oblivious of the backups they’re causing. Skipped a hole to get past and enjoyed an uninterrupted back 9. Green keepers and Club staff work hard to provide a course for all to enjoy and yet let down by the poor etiquette of others.

Played 3-11-24. Course in decent condition after much rain. Winter tees (mats) on some holes. Best book early if you can at weekends as gets very busy. Pictures of 2nd and 6th holes but there isn't much more water! Front 9 much longer - and harder -than back 9 - you can just play back 9. Terrific breakfast which can even make up for playing badly!

Best Sunday roast ever, you can have small medium or large. Speedy friendly service great value nice atmosphere. Trust me, you want a roast dinner on a Sunday, then come here, you won't be disappointed
