I regularly visit The Fox both during the week and the weekend. We often pop in to enjoy a couple of drinks and bar snacks during the week. At the weekend we come in to enjoy for the various events they put on whether it be a local band or singer or even a casino night! It has a lovely atmosphere, dog friendly and delicious food. Wonderful service from wonderful staff!

Nice local pub with great seating indoors and outdoors. I was there on a Sunday and the menu is slightly different, essentially more Sunday roast options. I had the vegan options, they only had 1 starter/sharer and one main, which was a burger. There are a few side options, which were fine. Service was good and food arrived in a timely fashion. Side note, mobile reception is bad in this area which may be a blessing but they do provide WiFi. My friend enjoyed his roast and my vegan meal was fine but nothing exceptional.

We recently visited, and I have to say, the experience exceeded all my expectations—thanks to the exceptional service led by Lock. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Lock values both the guests and the team. Lock greeted us warmly, checked in throughout our meal to ensure everything was perfect, and even provided thoughtful recommendations when we were undecided about our choices. It was evident that Lock’s professionalism and dedication set a high standard for the entire staff. The restaurant was running smoothly, even during a busy evening, which I believe is a testament to Lock’s strong leadership and organizational skills. The attention to detail, quick problem-solving, and friendly demeanor created an environment where we felt valued as customers. I highly recommend thus to anyone looking for not just a delicious meal but also an experience where customer service truly shines. Lock’s presence is a major reason we’ll be returning soon!

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Lauren, Kiwi and staff for making my dad’s wake so special. The food was lovely, the memory table was beautifully arranged, and the relaxed atmosphere they created really helped on such a hard day. They truly went above and beyond to make it a meaningful and personal occasion. My dad would have loved it. Thank you so much.

Only popped in for a quick pint but this is a must visit place. Really lovely place, set out beautifully. Everything is clean and well kept. The play area outside is enclosed and looks great for kids, so perfect for families. Loads of free parking spaces. Staff are all very welcoming.
