Played here yesterday after three our four days intense heat.
Despite 30 degree temperatures, the fairways were the best I've seen here.
Greens were surprisingly slower to putt on than expected, and were holding up despite high temperatures.
Friendly staff on board....overall experience was very positive!
Poked my nose in yesterday to check the course and clubhouse out and was greeted by a member of staff... She was very polite and sociable..
Only saw a part of the course but what I saw was excellent, especially for early February...
I'll be returning to Andover in a couple of weeks and can't wait to play this course..
Lovely and friendly golf club - buggies available which is also ideal for beginners. There are definitely some challenging holes and the set up of shared tees can be tricky to navigate but keeps you on your toes. There is a par 3 where the teebox has a beautiful view.
Would definitely come back!
Took family up to see the fireworks this year 2023. They had hot and cold beverages. Live band which were pretty good. Got the crowd going. They also had hot and cold food outside or in vans on the field. Fireworks were great! £10 entry fee for what you got I think it was worth the price. Had an amazing time. I didn't get many pictures as I was too busy enjoying myself.
