We had a 60th birthday party at Hamptworth and we had ordered a finger buffet. The quality and choice of the buffet was excellent and more than enough for everyone. Each of our guests were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the venue, as well as the food, drinks and the efficiency of Zoe and her team. Zoe was also a great help with organising the play list which for us technophobes was a huge plus. We returned with some of our guests for breakfast the following day, unfortunately the weather was grim so they couldn't see the beautiful view of the course from the clubhouse very well. Despite this a couple of them expressed a desire to return and play the course. A huge thank you to Andy and all his team for making the occasion so special.

Brilliant Golf Course in superb condition, quite tight fairways, well looked after. Lovely greens with just the right amount of deception (depending on your point of view) Lovely clubhouse, friendly helpful staff and really nice food. Well recommended.🏌️‍♂️⛳☀️👍

Loved the idea of the crazy golf course , just too beat up after 18 to try it! Having just played a course close by which had all greens on temps, amazed at the quality of these greens even after torrential rain. There are some interesting holes and it's long but it's the greens and the breakfast which swing the 5 stars

First game - orange course. Fairways in excellent condition - drier than expected. Only 11 and side of 18 were damp and soggy. Greens and tees in very good order. Good to be able to play from the fairways on all of the par4 and 5 holes.

Firstly I give a 5 if someone or a business goes the extra bit, Sandford Springs you have earned a 5 and well deserved. We booked for New Year’s Eve dinner & overnight stay. When we arrived checking in was very pleasant friendly welcoming staff on reception. We were given our room number and key card the receptionist said the cards will open either door, my wife and I were a bit confused but thought nothing of it. We entered the room to find large table, sofa, tv extra,but no bed? Then we entered the room properly and went through a pair of double doors to find the bedroom. WOW blown away they had given us the Wolverton Suite. Evening 4 course meal and service was fantastic well worth the trip. One little niggle as the hotel was full could of done with one more member of staff at breakfast as the two lads worked their socks off. Once again thank you too all the worked New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day magic start to 2025.

Great hotel and Golf Courses! Stayed here in October with a group of golfers and had a great time. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff who really looked after our group on an Autumn Sunday evening. 3 challenging groups of 9 holes with different characteristics so both the rounds we played felt different. Overall a great break.

Fabulous place huge rooms, super comfy beds, very friendly helpful staff and beautiful grounds. Restaurant has excellent food, my poached eggs for breakfast were done to perfection.

We got married here in November 2024! It was the most perfect day and we were glad we booked East Horton! A special thank you to Ellie, the ceremony and wedding breakfast decor looked brilliant! We loved the food choices and had so much feedback from guests about how good the food was! The grounds of the venue were stunning and very autumnal! It was all just perfect, thank you!!

I played at the beginning of November, after some bad weather, so I was not expecting the best quality of course. I was wrong. No plugging, Tee boxes used but still good condition. Fairways clear of leaves and genuinely great greens. We played here as a lot of other courses in the area had temp greens and winter matts already. Good variety of holes, especially the back nine. Lots of challenges, some elevation changes and some water to miss. Pace of play was good and a nice little pro shop. Nice snacks and drinks at the bar just off the 18th

My husband & I got married here in June 2024. We couldn’t fault East Horton at all. From the planning leading up to the big day, to the day itself, everything was perfect. We’d recommend this beautiful venue to any newly engaged couples. A special thank you to Taura, who made the planning process stress free and made our day go so smoothly!

The golf courses are alright for the cost good yardage, views and the greens are ok. However the food is excellent well worth a visit, a warm and welcoming unusual clubhouse.

Lovely, friendly staff. Best place in Andover for hot chocolate. Tables inside and out also toilets inside. The cafe is next to the children's enclosed playground and to a lake with Summer pedalos and boats. There is a 18 hole (all par 3) golf coarse, reburbished crazy golf and plenty of grass areas for football and walking dogs. A BMX bike track lies at the far end of the park. There is limited parking at the lakes.

Beautiful location. You must stop if you're passing by. We dont live in Andover but are regulars to the area as this is just a few minutes walk from the gym where our son trains for gymnastics. We frequently pop along to the lakes and park with our picnic blanket and a flask of coffee. Lovely. See you there, maybe? 😉👍

A diverse place to visit in the Andover area. Swans, ducks, moorhens and canadian geese. Mini golf, pitch and putt, play area with reasonable facilities nearby. Definitely worth a visit with the kids.

Amazing value for money, brilliant course the west is more interesting and slightly better condition but great venue and super friendly staff. Play it.

me and my nephew played on Wednesday,,,,,, I only been playing 9 months,,,, Great up,,,,friendly staff on arrival, Course was tidy,the maintenance team were out redoing the bunkers,,, they green keepers were in and around most hole on the way out but communicated well so we can play through,,, Good mix of tech and the occasional long hole,,, We both really enjoyed it,,,😁 Will definitely return as the vibe was great,,,, Many thanks Weybrook park,,

Played this lovely course on February 5th....it was in super nick, unbelievably dry and firm under foot, greens running true and excellent tee boxes. Certainly a hidden gem in Hampshire and great value for money!!

Great little golf club. It was very wet the day I played (see pic) but once I was out in the course it was clear that the drainage was overly good as I hardly spotted a puddle and play was really good. Except in the bunkers of course, but they were redoing them anyway, probably for this exact reason. Anyway, great facility and will be back. Good selection of beers in the clubhouse and Lasagne was plentiful and spot on after a wettish round of play. Highly recommend 👍

Booked for our ten year wedding anniversary and so glad we did! Team were really friendly and accommodating and left us a nice surprise and card in our room on arrival. Food is about normal prices but the portions are big so you definitely get value for money. The area and views were lovely and we chose this hotel specifically for the spa facilities and the location being about an hour or less from all major attractions. Would definitely recommend for couples, had a wonderful anniversary thank you !

Had a fantastic spa weekend at The Old Thorns Spa & Resort! The venue was absolutely lovely, with excellent spa facilities that made for a truly relaxing experience. The gym was impressively large—bigger than any other spa hotel I’ve visited before, which was a great bonus. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was well-maintained. I’ll definitely be coming back again! Highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel and lovely rooms. I got married here in April and stayed in one of the two bed apartments for two nights. The apartments have everything you need if you want to cook and the whole space was to a very good standard with beautiful views of the golf course. The dining facilities and the pool area are lovely (leisure facilities were busy on the weekend). Breakfast has a wide selection of food and staff are very welcoming and attentive. Great for a relaxing break and will certainly be back.

We checked in online via the link provided and arrived before the 3pm checkin to use the gym - room was ready so we where able to get to our room. Gym facilities are very good lots of space and equipment. The spa was busy but staff constantly checked numbers and after a very short wait we entered the spa and pool area steam room sauna hot beds and pool busy but no wait for anything. Free drink voucher to use in either bar and dinner at 7.45 nice relaxed well paced service. Breakfast was good plenty of choice and tasty. Room was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend a Old Thorns package.

Lovely arrival up long drive. Accommodation widely spread on site so long walk from room to dining room, ok in summer but in cold and wet unpleasant. Upgraded room in main house was barren and soulless. Only one chair. No slippers or bath robes, toiletries in big containers you can't reach from bath. Mugs for coffee/tea dirty. Poor view of bins/work area. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Dining room cold, we asked to move away from big single glazed windows and service beyond slow, Food was delicious, thank you chefs. Food for conference less good and cold, Swimming pool awful. Downstairs, dull dingy, not inviting at all, had expected a really good spa area.

I have been fortunate enough to stay here several times a year for many years with work and have seen it in every season, absolutely beautiful hotel & stunning grounds. The food is great, relatively decent price point too. Some great walks nearby if you are a keen walker, and lots of wooded areas to walk through and explore, seems to be very popular with mountain bikers as majority of the surrounding area is relatively flat. It's a short walk into Mortimer too which has a handful of cosy traditional pubs which is great. Personally I haven't had played the golf course here but I do hear very good reviews about it. The mansion house rooms are immaculately clean, very spacious too. It has plenty of outdoor seating and a separate terrace area which is lovely in summertime. The team here cannot do enough for you, always super friendly, polite and courteous. Really cannot fault the place at all. Definitely worth a visit!

Stayed on the 19th of January 2024 following the tragic death and funeral of my 47 year-old brother. The stay was just what we needed and the staff at the hotel made it a really pleasurable stay for both the adults and the children. Beautiful, clean, well-equipped hotel. Lovely grounds and the mansion is gorgeous! The suite (room 201) we stayed in was both luxurious and well-equipped as well as spacious and nicely situated. The bathroom products are high quality and smell great and there was an excellent provision of water, tea, coffee etc. Wonderful customer service start to finish, especially from Kelly Norris and some lovely little goodies for the children who have also been through a lot this last few weeks in losing their uncle. They had big smiles start to finish and made some lovely memories. Food in The View is delicious. The shoulder of Beef was immense and the breakfast provided is second to none. Bar meals in Benedict’s were good too. Plenty on the menu for children and lots of space for them to explore as well as a good sized pool. Our children loved their stay so much our daughter made a thank you note. We really appreciated all the little touches to make our stay special and cannot fault the hotel or the staff. We will definitely be returning and if we weren’t married already, I would be suggesting we have our wedding there too. It’s really worth a visit!

What a fantastic team! A lovely birthday party, with good food and outstanding service! Credit where credit is due, the service is a hell of a lot better than when I use to work (customer facing lol) there! Well worth a visit or consideration for wedding/party venue, Aaron, Charlotte and (please forgive as I didn’t catch her name but she is in the pic) were incredible (both friendly and professional) and made the day feel even more special!

We had agreat day at the Hampshire today. The course was in very good condition. Bunkers were nicely raked Tees and Green were very good but the fairways were superb. The staff were very helpful and the other players on the course and in the bar were very polite.

Really impressed with the bar and food and Talia was an excellent host and really looked after us. We'd go back just for her tbh. Golf course was good for this time of year.
