A good round of golf! A semi challenging one for a beginner like myself. The course was very playable, especially seeing that there had been a shed load of rain a couple of days prior. The greens weren't the best, but this is totally understandable again due to the conditions in the days before. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely come back for another round, and hopefully a lower score!!

Really enjoyable round of golf on the Manor course. Course was in great condition, pro shop very friendly and a welcoming 19th 👍🍺🏌‍♂️. I highly recommend playing here. We will be back 🙂

A really interesting course through the new forest with great greens and fairways. Manor Course. Pro shop is well equipped with a good selection of mens and womens attire. Really friendly staff who welcomed us. We will happily return ☺️

Played here during a week long stay in Bournemouth and really glad we did. Very warm welcome from Pro-shop through to bar staff, food very nice and reasonably priced. The course itself was in immaculate condition and an interesting challenge. Whilst only spanning 90 acres it doesn't feel cramped with most holes being tree lined. Would highly recommend playing!

Outstanding golf course in tip-top condition which lies on perfect golfing terrain. Many interesting holes which reward straight hitting but don’t punish the offline shots too severely. The super quick and true greens are a delight. You’ll get a very warm welcome in the clubhouse - gents changing rooms are being refurbished are still in operation - along with some good food after you game. Very highly recommended.

Welcoming staff and members. We were in attendance for an Inter County Junior golf competition. We are always given a warm welcome even though the event takes over the place for 3 days. Food is great too. Fresh well cooked and reasonable . Next time can we have better weather, it was the only let down 😜 but course handled everything that was thrown at it by mother nature. Brilliant effort by greenkeepers

I played Knighton Heath today whilst visiting the South Coast on a family holiday. Having done a little investigation I chose Knighton as a cost effective alternative to some of the more famous and celebrated courses in the area, of which there are many. I played at 3.30pm on a twilight rate , £30. This deal is unreal value. Knighton is an absolute gem and could command a fee well over £100 in my opinion! Its beautifully kept, the layout is fantastic, the greens are in amazing condition and to cap it all I received a very warm welcome as a single visiting golfer to the club. One member joined me for the back 9 and he really added to my positive experience. I have been lucky enough to play some top courses in the UK and Europe and this is honestly one of the best I have played - easily in my top ten. I will definitely be heading back again soon. The hidden gem of the South Coast. Fabulous!!!

I have played the course only twice and it is in great condition the course is very tricky at times but a good challenge. The pro shop is fully stocked with everything the golfer needs. Friendly staff and very helpful and welcoming. Thanks Harley. The food is excellent. Highly recommend ferdown forest for golf or to eat. Thank you to all the staff for all your good work. Not given the course a go yet but have to give a major shoutout to the pro shop and fitting studio they have on site, came in after a few uncertainties about my clubs. Within a few shots the pro Steve who had been monitoring me very quickly picked up the issues I had with my setup and as he brought up, nothing was wrong in the selection I had both head and shaft wise but all it required to get me striking it much more consistently was to set them up 1* flat which instantly made a change in the flight path of the ball and clearly wasn’t trying to push to replace them like many places I’ve been to have. Also gave much comforting guidance without the typical route some people reading the text book as any golfer is not going to swing or setup the same. All this service including the club adjustments came to a very respectful price, highly recommend them if you’re around this area looking to be fitted or simply after some good advice on your golf game or equipment.

Great parking, restaurant, driving range and golf shop. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Can be very busy as its so well located with such great services

Amazing. We had our wedding reception here and I'm so pleased we did. From start to finish Ellie and the team helped in every way possible. They went above and beyond to makesure our day was perfect. You also have a beautiful view for perfect photos. The food was amazing we had the buffet and then the grand BBQ. Would highly recommend

30 Jun 22, Fantastic course, definitely be playing again there, easy to book, friendly and helpful staff, Was abit of wait on some holes due to 4 ball players taking so long but that's golf! A few challenging holes, greens in great condition. The fairways not so good some holes fairways dry & sun scorched. ⛳🏌‍♂️⛳🏌‍♂️⛳🏌‍♂️⛳🏌‍♂️

Not exactly a pristine course, but a great little golf course for beginners. No pressure environment. Friendly staff

My daughters have been going here for a few lessons now and will continue to do so. Ponies are lovely, staff is lovely, and I feel for a beginner this is a lovely, relaxed and friendly place to learn to ride. Instructors are encouraging and there are not too many children on lessons, meaning my children get a lot out of each lesson, feel happy and relaxed, and look forward to going back! Even my husband has had a go at riding now, encouraged by the relaxed atmosphere of the stables. I am an experienced rider myself and have lessons here too. It depends what you are looking for... if you are looking for a relaxed, friendly school in beautiful surroundings, then I would highly recommend Dudmoor Farm. The only exception is, if you are looking for more advanced riding instruction and are an advanced rider, I don’t think most of the horses use to being worked at that level. But again it depends on what you are looking for, and we have certainly been more than happy with it.

Great little golf course friendly staff, course is kept up to a good standard the ground staff make the most of a short course played numerous times and always found challenging enough to keep attention even on second time round to play 18. Inexpensive to play and if teaching your nipper to hit a ball no pressure. Only issue is if you are reasonable player playing as pair you catch others quickly and they seldom let you play through can be frustrating.

Lovely challenging golf course.Well kept and honest greens.I understand it will be closing August 2025 which is a huge disappointment.If possible it is well worth a round before closure.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Golf Club, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. The course is beautifully maintained, offering both challenging holes and scenic views. Great little golf club. It was very wet the day I played (see pic) but once I was out in the course it was clear that the drainage was overly good as I hardly spotted a puddle and play was really good. Except in the bunkers of course, but they were redoing them anyway, probably for this exact reason. Anyway, great facility and will be back. Good selection of beers in the clubhouse and Lasagne was plentiful and spot on after a wettish round of play. Highly recommend 👍

me and my nephew played on Wednesday,,,,,, I only been playing 9 months,,,, Great up,,,,friendly staff on arrival, Course was tidy,the maintenance team were out redoing the bunkers,,, they green keepers were in and around most hole on the way out but communicated well so we can play through,,, Good mix of tech and the occasional long hole,,, We both really enjoyed it,,,😁 Will definitely return as the vibe was great,,,, Many thanks Weybrook park,,

Played this lovely course on February 5th....it was in super nick, unbelievably dry and firm under foot, greens running true and excellent tee boxes. Certainly a hidden gem in Hampshire and great value for money!!

Played all 36 holes on the Wellington and Waterloo over the last 2 days. Absolutely stunning courses. Fantastic condition, especially for the current green fees. Love the fact that there is a grass range, which i find is getting rarer to see in public clubs. Staff couldn't be better. Just a great experience. (I walked the Wellington, which is fine if your somewhat fit but deffinately made the right choice getting a buggy for the Waterloo, would be abit of a trek without it)

Really impressed with the bar and food and Talia was an excellent host and really looked after us. We'd go back just for her tbh. Golf course was good for this time of year.
