What a great course, greens are superb and the weather was glorious. The day was topped off making a hole in one on the 9th
Played in Senior's event which was well organised. Decent challenge of a course & fairly flat so an easy walk. Course in good condition & nicely appointed. Plenty of trees. Nice clubhouse with friendly staff.
It's a a good course with some difficult holes and others that are more normal. It has some long par 5 and par 4 holes that the average player couldn't hope to reach in 3/2. The rough is generally forgiving allowing you to find and hit balls. Not if you hit it into the Manchester Ship Canal though. It has suffered in the hot weather and the greens and some approaches are currently in poor condition. Still great fun to play.
