What a hidden gem of a course , brilliant lay out , fantastic fairways , several doglegs that make you think and tough greens with bunkers that really test your skills , All in top class condition from start to finish , I played there on Wednesday , no crowded tee boxes or fairways , a 3 1/2 hour round , perfect ! The only draw back is the noise on the first couple and last holes as the course is nestled between the M1 and A1 and I mean right next to it !!! Over look that and you will have a truly wonderful round of golf ,

Lovely experience to play on this course . Enjoyed the views from tee to green & it's quite open .

Played here a few times now, lovely course. Well kept fairways and greens. Beautiful scenery and lovely lake. Challenging course. Unusual way of getting to the course from the club house. You have to use the underpass to get to the other side of the duel carriage way. Food is good and a very good bar selection especially whiskeys 😉 Staff throughout the club are nice and friendly.

Nice, fairly short course hidden away in North London. Greens and fairways in good condition. Lot of the bunkers were under repair and not much sand in them. Car park was completely full so had to park a few mins walk away. Overall enjoyed the round and would play here again.

Great Top tracer driving range equipment with all the golf simulators. Great course and super well looked after. Friendly staff and extremely welcoming.

Fantastic golf course, picturesque greens, and fairways. State of the art range to practice your game. The clubhouse/restaurant is super modern and spotlessly clean. The food was really tasty and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back for more.
Rating: 5 / 5
It’s a great course and at the moment the greens are perfect. The tee boxes have just been scarified and sanded, the roughs are not too bad. In winter the fairways get soggy but perfect right now. The geese poo on the greens just to mess you up!

On behalf of the Potters Bar Crusaders I would like to thank Emma and the team at Hertsmere golf club. We had a great breakfast before setting off which was self service. The course was in fantastic condition and weather was too. We played in memory of Brian Bett who was our club steward for many years! The club donated a 4 ball which we auctioned off in the evening raising money to go The Royal British Legion. Great club! Thanks again!

Excellent course (fair value in the week at £35 a round) greens are pretty slow for this stage of summer, although July has been wet, I think they were watered as they were particularly spongey. The course is challenging enough, a few birdie chances on the par 3s and one short par 5 in particular. Back nine seems a bit tighter off the tee than the front. Restaurant food was very high quality and different to what you would expect at a Golf club. Very much enjoyed the sharing plates we ate afterwards and kudos to the Portugese manager who was great. Keen to play on the weekend, but tee times on website not very clear.

We have held our golf day at this same venue for 39 years. It is always in good condition and the catering and bar staff are super friendly. Ideal course for a golf day especially if not everybody plays regularly as is not long but always a fair challenge.

Wow, what a lovely course and a great test of golf. On 1st August the whole course was in beautiful condition; tees, fairways and greens. Every hole offers a different challenge. Greens were the best I’ve played this year. As a 13 handicap I’d play it again tomorrow having felt I didn’t do it justice first time around. Visitor green fees with a member are very reasonable.

Had my 80th birthday party my family and I had a lovely evening the staff were excellent.
Rating: 4 / 5
Nice course in really good condition. Shame the pro didn't tell us about the past Capts comp & from the 13th tee would be closed. Luckily there were some friendly members who helped

Attended for a Wake of a close relative. A lovely venue. However the entrance is a bit confusing as it's gated, it took a while to realise there's a line on the ground in front of the gates, and car needed to be near that to allow gates to open. Lovely views from the reception area across the 18th hole and out towards Sidcup/Welling. Nice clean facilities, friendly staff.

Course was in stunning condition especially considering the weather over night and in the morning. Food was superb as always. Well worth a visit if you get the chance
Rating: 4 / 5
Course seemed a bit boggy underfoot even with little recent rain. I've known more interesting holes on many other courses. The off course facilities are very good quality.

An interesting & fair layout that needs some thought. Some great views. Fairways are undulating crossed with shallow ditches. Greens are challenging, true and whilst a little slow, will be good as weather improves. Has halfway house on 11th.

Beautiful course, good flow the 9th was a bit challenging for me. Cosy club house, good choice of drinks at a very fair price. Had a nice chat with Brendon and Chris from the bar. The food was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. I had a lovely burger and my friend had the soup of the day, which I had to try and truly enjoyed. Got the pleasure of saying hi to the two wonderful chefs, George and Noah who are very skilled, passionate and polite. I am considering a membership and will be returning for the course, food and drinks. Thank you OFM!

Our team from GM Dental and Implant Centre in Barnet had an incredible time at Old Fold Manor Golf Club today! As first-time golfers, we weren't sure what to expect, but the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome and at ease. The course itself was simply breathtaking. The well-maintained fairways, lush greens, and stunning views created a picturesque backdrop for our game. It was evident that the management and staff take great pride in the upkeep of the facilities, ensuring a top-notch golfing experience for their visitors. Being beginners, we appreciated the club's beginner-friendly atmosphere. The staff provided us with a brief introduction to the game and patiently answered all our questions. Moreover, the overall ambiance of the club was delightful. The clubhouse offered a cozy and inviting atmosphere where we could relax and share stories about our shots. The amenities, including the pro shop and the restaurant, were well-stocked and provided everything we needed to enhance our experience. Finally, the prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the facilities and services provided. We felt that we received great value for our money, and we can confidently say that we will be coming back for more rounds in the future. In conclusion, our first-time golfing experience at Old Fold Manor Golf Club was nothing short of exceptional. The friendly staff, beautiful course, and welcoming atmosphere made our visit unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this golf club to both experienced golfers and beginners like ourselves. Thank you to the entire team at Old Fold Manor Golf Club for an incredible day on the greens. We can't wait to return!

Played in their Senior Pairs Competition today. The course was in excellent condition. Good food etc. really enjoyed the day. Was a little surprised that there wasn’t a prize for best Visitor score. ## Something to consider for next year’s competition##

Well kept course. Fairways and greens were fantastic. Even the rough was kept under control. Course is not that challenging, wide fairways and not that many hazards. Good confidence booster if you're not playing too well 😉. Club house was really nice and the young barman on duty the afternoon we were there was really friendly. Good choice of beers and spirits. I was told the food served here is also very good, we did not get a chance to try any.

Good value for money and in relatively good condition for October, however the course was generally a bit overgrown with sections of some greens unplayable. Some challenging holes but good for all levels of golfer. Better signage needed for where to go and for the closed footbridge.

this is a very good course with quite a few challenges (i first played this course over 45 years ago but moved away). there were a few temporary greens in place due to the weather but perfectly playable. my only real complaint about the course is that the members seem to think that the course is there's and they broke the golden golf rule and would not let me play through even though i was behind them from the fifth hole, eventually i had to miss a hole to get in front as they were so slow and holding up play. the staff here were very pleasant and should be commended especially the lady in the clubhouse who explained everything about the course to me perfectly..

Got invited for an anniversary party a couple of weekends ago. Great location in that there are lots of free parking available, a major plus! However, getting there could be a trek as all around the whole area, there's a 20 mph speed limit so it's a bit of a crawl to get there. There are two floors for functions, upstairs and downstairs, each can accommodate 40-50 people comfortably and a licenced bar with a selection (on tap or bottles) of ales or lagers. Prices not dissimilar to what you'll normally pay outside in run of the mills pubs. This place also do catering for private functions, of course only cold or finger snacks and sandwiches, pies and sausage rolls etc. The staff working there are friendly and helpful too. I would recommend this place if you were to plan any private functions yourself.

Staff and Venue: Super friendly and no doubt a great place. Friendly, bars great and food. Overall great friendly club. Golf: This place as you can imagine is on the shorter end. Low Par and mostly shorter holes. Still a good challenge overall, and can hit driver in most cases. Good variety and well maintained course. A bit interesting layout so be sure to know the map as you gotta go weird directions to get to the next hole sometimes. All an all enjoyed this place! Would recommend for those with shorter games.

I would say good value for money. Though heaters on the upper floor bays were not working. Good location with views of Canary Wharf and the O2. Driver clubs were all dented/damaged but usable, but if you want to take it seriously best to bring your own.

Great way to spend your weekend with a group of friends. I visited with a group of my friends and I couldn’t realise how the time passed by. We enjoyed a lot competing with eachother. They have live screen to watch all the live metrics, you can definitely make use of it if you are a golf beginner just like me. They also serve food and drinks inside. Although veg options are very limited, they had a good taste. I would highly recommend this place.

Exceptional Golfing Experience at Peninsula Greenwich "We recently had the pleasure of playing golf at Peninsula Green, and it was truly one of the best experiences! The course was immaculate, with breathtaking views of the bay. Although dining options were limited, the cheesy fries were a highlight. The bay's serene atmosphere made our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend Peninsula Green for golf enthusiasts!

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this course for a municipal course. Quite a few dog walkers but nothing that causes issues. Greens were in good nick, tough positioning. Nice variation in the holes.

Not the most forgiving course, but really well maintained and great value for money. Also easily accessible on the overground line
