Joe Scannella has been our garden guru for decades, and his father before him. Joe is not only highly knowledgeable but can explain things clearly, so our occasional garden reviews are always productive. Although his work for us has mainly been garden tidying, he has also done landscaping projects for us. His re-design of our driveway has inspired guests, neighbours and even passers-by, as well as making us feel very proud of our home.

Joe and his team transformed the back garden from a basic lawn only new build to a low maintenance, child friendly, unfussy but very interesting and characterful garden. Some of the features include Corten Steel edging, raised beds and water feature, a Gabion cage with Horsham stone and Oak bench, Cotswold stone paving and large Horsham stone boulders. The team had to deal with some challenging ground conditions, which quickly became apparent after removing the lawn and starting to dig out for the hard surfaces. They took this challenge in their stride, as they did with all aspects of the project, such as the limited access to site and some very heavy items to move. Joe's team also did the planting, the fruits of which will soon become apparent, so I will update this review with new photos in due course.

Have used Montrose many times over many years. They are great to deal with and always do a very good job - recently changed 3 fence panels for me. I'm always very pleased with the outcome.
