John and his team were fantastic all the way through, went from first seeing the garden to job done in a couple of weeks. They kept my up to date while I was away working most of the time and flexible to change plans halfway through if needed. Could not recommend more highly

Great tucked away CL site, all facilities provided. Very quiet overnight. Approach lane narrow in places. About 1.5 miles into Alford village centre.

Mandy's is a garden Centre that you can trust to provide good quality plants, shrubs etc, with a good measure of sound advice if required. Customer focused and a friendly welcome.

Lovely place We had been looking for a Pear Tree named Beth and bought a super tree here.

Nice little place nice coffee shop and fresh fruit and veg shop pumpkin patch nice as well. Take no notice of the price on the box.

Lovely village farm shop, tea room and plant shop. Plenty plants to choose from and very reasonable prices, plus some bargains in the sale section. Enjoyed some tea & cake too, very tasty. We went earlier in the year and enjoyed the lambing event, I hear there's more events planned through the year also. Staff very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to seeing how this develops. Now selling some delicious scones, fruity or cheesy. New update for March 2024, breakfast buns! With talk of full breakfast if demand is good.

Picked up some veg and plants and checked out the sheep. Picked up a couple of plants and veg. Looking forward to the new tea room opening. Gets bigger and better every time.

Loved this place!! Just went for plants a couple of years ago, but now they open their doors at lambing time. We went this year, and I fed a lamb. They also have a lovely little cafe and built a veg shed. If you're nearby, go, especially at lambing time. Cost £4 per person, (only to see lambs) and well worth it.

It's a family environment. They have playground for children. Separate xafe for furry friends. Food place for human and separate place for dessert 🍨 . It's got shops for clothes, shoes, fishes, aquarium .

Lovely cafe with a good menu. Staff were very helpful and service very good. I made the wrong choice with the cod and prawn fish cakes. Very disappointed as they were more like a potatoe cake no sign of any fish! Very over cooked as Deep fried to within an inch of it's life. Which was a shame as the other food our party had looked delicious and was enjoyed.

Lovely garden centre. Dogs are welcome and food can be eaten indoors in The Doghouse with them. The plants looked healthy and were well priced.

Excellent range of plants and other products which were a range of gardening items, clothing, household, gifts and a small range of bakery, jams etc. We had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant which was extremely busy, but not a long wait. Wide selection of cakes! Plenty of parking. Aquatic section that wasn’t due to the weather. Some outside animals and birds which children (and adults) would enjoy. I found it expensive, so not my first choice of garden centre, but enjoyable for the occasional visit.

Waldemar was brilliant, the service provided was complete for example he gave good suggestions based on my requirement and then completed all works in a timely manner and to an excellent standard. Highly recommended.

Great service from Waldemar, came and checked the job out and then completed faster than expected at the agreed price, lovely fellow and will definitely have back again for more jobs. Perfect.

Waldemar did a fantastic job on our garden at brilliant value. Initially the job was to install a porcelain patio and gravel path, but he ended up helping us redo our lawn as well due to a pest. Garden now looks fantastic, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Today we had Lincs Garden Services remove root balls from a hedge row I had cut down and needed help in removing the root balls. I contacted LGS they got back to me straight away arranging a mutually convenient time to have a look at the job and provide an estimate. As I was in no hurry to have this done a date approximately two weeks hence was agreed with LGS who would confirm a suitable date nearer the time. However, 10 days after initially consulting me they contacted me asking if I was available the next day– I had no issues with the timing and subsequently agreed. On the day two guys took approx. 7 hours to remove the root balls (not an easy task) and made good (tidied and cleaned up) the garden, removing all the roots. I most certainly recommend LGS hence giving them 5 stars. Very professional and extremely hard workers.

Recently had the privilege of having the Birtwhistle team carry out tree removal at my property. A full site visit and tree survey was conducted by Jonathan prior to quoting for the works and then a date was planned in. The tree team were all punctual, polite and highly motivated, from the start, their attention to detail was great to see! Extra care was taken to climb the tree and remove limbs before the main section was to be felled, this removed any chance of damaging neighbouring trees! Area was cleaner at the end than when they started! All waste removed and stump ground out, a top quality job!

This is the third piece of work we have asked Birtwhistle’s to do at our property and clearly shows we are more than happy with the end product. From quickly responding to our initial enquiry, providing a quote and then doing the job it is refreshing to know good customer service still exists. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Work carried out promptly and efficiently with no damage to any surround structures fences etc. All brash chipped and removed and mess cleaned up leaving the logs as requested. Very reasonable price also even removing a large conifer and chipping in with the original cost. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed. Nice to be able to support local buisness.
